The X Bomb is an item from the Kid Icarus universe, set to appear in Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U. When thrown, it releases a blast of fire in a cross-shaped radius, damaging anyone caught inside. It can be avoided by standing at certain points, like directly under it.
