IT DOES!

The Wii is Nintendo's fifth home console and as the direct successor of the GameCube. Also known as "Revolution" until April 27, 2006, it was released on late 2006 on all countries, except South Korea which released in that country on 2008.

One of many games that created for the Wii is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but the Wii can also play the original Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 (as a downloadable Virtual Console game via Wii Shop Channel) and Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GameCube (not compatible on Wii Family Edition). In addition, the Nintendo GameCube controller was compatible with these games.
