This article is about Wario's appearance in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. For other uses, see Wario. Wario is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U.
How to Unlock
Complete the following:
- Play 30 matches, then fight and defeat Wario.

Ground Attacks
Normal
- Neutral Attack: Throws a punch.
- Neutral Combo: Throws another punch. One of the shortest combos in the game.
- Dash Attack: Dives to the ground headfirst and slides a short distance.
- Side Tilt: Throws a strong punch.
- Up Tilt: Throws both of his hands upward.
- Down Tilt: Pokes his hand forward at ground level.
Smash
- Side Smash: Attacks with an extra-large fist.
- Up Smash: Stands on tiptoe and does a headbutt.
- Down Smash: Sweeps the ground on his back.

Aerial Attacks
- Neutral Aerial: Spins slightly, arms flayed.
- Forward Aerial: Does a kick.
- Back Aerial: Throws his head and arms backwards.
- Up Aerial: Claps his hands above his head.

Grabs and Throws
- Pummel: Smacks opponent with his free hand.
- Forward Throw: Hits opponent with his butt.
