The goddess of nature, she believes it is her duty to return heaven and earth to their pure states, and so she labels humans as contaminants of nature that should be eliminated. She initially butts heads with human-protecting Pit and Palutena but the advent of the Aurum invasion, Chaos Kin the machinations of Hades causes them to join forces. She aids Pit and provides him with the Power of Flight when Palutena is incapable and develops a tsundere (a type of character who stubbornly refuses to admit any kind of emotional attachment to another person, despite clear contrary evidence in her actions and/or words; a noticeable example occurs when using Palutena's Guidance against Link) type relationship with him.
In the 3DS version Viridi appears in the Reset Bomb Forest stage where she will occasionally drop her Reset Bombs, which will randomly change the landscape.
In the Wii U version Viridi appears on the Palutena's Temple stage where she will talk about the fighters with Pit and Palutena in Palutena's Guidance in a similar manner to Snake's Codec Messages from Brawl.
The goddess of nature, she believes it is her duty to return heaven and earth to their pure states. and so she labels humans as contaminants of nature that should be eliminated. She butts heads with human-protecting Palutena but hates soul-stealing Hades even more.
- Viridi appears in both games (but looks different)
- Viridi can be heard talking during Palutena's reveal trailer saying "Looks like angels only talk big."
