What's up guys! Plasmaster here. I don't know about you, but I love the music in Smash. Whether it is a hard core song like the Mega Man 2 Medley, a battle-ready song like Attack from Fire Emblem, or a soothing piece that doesn't fit with the all-out brawls of Smash yet still fits somehow...like Snowman.
There is a lot of great music that doesn't get into Smash though. So, that is what this post is for! As the post's title suggests, I will be hosting a new music piece on this blog post every day. It can be an original piece from a video game or a cool remix or medley made by someone on the Internet.
Today's music piece is Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Opening, from Tekken, submitted by XenoRalph!
This track starts out with a bit of piano, which feels serene, almost like the calm before the storm, which, considering this track is from a fighting game, makes it feel as if an inevitable battle is approaching. Then the beat drops and the track is brought alive. The imminent danger has risen and struck, and now you must fight it off whether you're prepared for it or not. Since the track is from Tekken, another fighting game, it really does fit the bill for Smash Bros. Pull out your Heihachi Mii Brawler costume and go to Final Destination or Boxing Ring, because this track really fits those stages. Were it to be put on a new stage, of course it would go on a stage that represents Tekken. Who knows, maybe we'll get a Tekken rep in Smash 5? It is possible considering that Tekken has a Mii Fighter costume in Smash 4 and Ryu got in as well.
