You know what series really needs a new rep? Xenoblade. There is so much potential in almost all of the characters. That's why I've decided to make some blogs going into detail about the movesets some of these characters will have.

This blog contains movesets for Reyn and Dunban. Other characters can be found here: Seven:[1]

Reyn

Overview

Reyn is one of the seven playable characters from Xenoblade. He is Shulk's best friend. In battle, Reyn wields a weapon made for him by Shulk; his "Scrap Driver", which is a combination Shield and Lance. The Scrap Driver will have a damage sweetspot on its tip, while hitting with the base inflicts high shield damage. Reyn will be a heavy-weight, with weight and running speed equal to Wario, walking speed equal to Ganondorf, Jump hight equal to Bowser, and Falling speed equal to Donkey Kong. You can read more about Reyn here: http://xenoblade.wikia.com/wiki/Reyn

Moveset

Neutral A = A single backhand swing with medium ending lag. Cannot chain.
Side Tilt = Overhand Diagonal Downward swing. Medium/high ending lag.
Up Tilt = Bone Upper; Delivers an uppercut punch. Not very high damage.
Down Tilt = Reyn swings his driver Low to the ground. Medium ending lag.
Side Smash = Hammer Beat; A downward slam with decent damage and knockback, but high beginning and ending lag.
Up Smash = Stabs the air. High ending lag.
Down Smash = Wild Down; A forward stab with medium beginning lag. Buries opponents.
Dash Attack = Shield Bash; Slams his weapon into the enemy. High shield damage.
Nair = Lariat; Swing that covers a wide area. Decent ending lag.
Fair = Swings his weapon downward. High ending lag.
Uair = Punches the air. Quick, but not very powerful.
Bair = A backward Kick. Quick, but not very powerful. Has decent knockback.
Dair = Shield bashes below him. Takes Reyn downward. High shield damage. Can spike.
Neutral B = Cycle through auras (rage, beserker, anchor chain and engage). Rage decreases attack and defence, but will make enemies take a certain percent of inflicted damage to Reyn on themselves. Beserker sacrifices defence to increase attack. Anchor chain will decrease knockback inflicted on Reyn for the cost of speed, and Engage Increases allies defence in exchange for his own (useful for drawing aggro away from teammates). Use neutral B while an aura is activated to use aura burst, which will decrease the defence of nearby enemies in exchange for not being able to activate another aura for a while.
Side B = Sword drive; Stabs the enemy for a very large amount of damage, but has a long cool down between uses.
Up B = War swing; Very similar to Donkey Kong's Up B.
Down B = Guard Shift; High beginning lag, but will block all frontal damage while holding it down, and will deflect projectiles.
Final Smash = Summons the Mobile artillery for a transformation final smash not unlike the landmaster.

Taunts:
"Now it's Reyn Time!".
"Keep yer stinkin' future".
Mad taunt (has a bonus use; Enemies not doing anything will automatically walk toward Reyn)

Victory 1: "Man, what a bunch of jokers"
Victory 2: "Can't have a rainbow without Reyn, Baby"
Victory 3: "Man, Nothing like a good fight"
Victory 4: (team battle)"Let's not lose our heads, though"
Victory 5: (team battle with Shulk as an ally)"I've still got your back!"

Dunban

Overview

Dunban is one of the seven playable characters in Xenoblade Chronicles. For a long time, he was the only one able to use the legendary Monado, and with it, he repelled the Mechon invasion at Sword Valley almost singlehandedly. Unfortunately, the Monado's power was too much for him to handle, and he lost the use of his right arm in doing so. One year later, Dunban is still recovering from his injury, but handles it much better, and has started fighting again. He fights left-handed with a Katana, has a very high strength stat, the highest agility stat, and is very skilled at drawing aggro away from party members. In this game, he will have a damage sweetspot at the centre of his katana, so spacing is key. He does not have a very high defence, but his speed makes up for it. Dunban will have the same weight as Link, the same running speed as Roy, the same walking speed as Marth, the same jump height as Link, and the same falling speed as Marth. You can read more about Dunban here: http://xenoblade.wikia.com/wiki/Dunban

Moveset

Neutral A = A forehand sword swipe. Can chain.
Side Tilt = Electric Gutbuster; A fast kick. Does more damage if chained after his side B
Up Tilt = Swings his sword in a rising arc
Down Tilt = Serene heart; Not an attack. Increases movement and attack speed for 15 seconds at the cost of defence
Side Smash = Overhand Swing. Medium ending lag
Up Smash = Stabs the air. Low ending lag, but not very powerful.
Down Smash = Steel strike. Buries opponents. If used after receiving the bonus damage of his side tilt, the bury lasts much longer.
Dash Attack = A backhand swing with low ending lag.
Nair = Swings twice in the air in front of him.
Fair = Swings forehand. Medium ending lag.
Uair = Rising swing that covers the air above him. Medium ending lag.
Bair = Thunder; Sends out sparks behind him. Low damage, but high knockback.
Dair = Swings below him with low ending lag.
Neutral B = Worldly slash; Hits twice. Lowers enemies defence. If used after side B, lowers their attack as well.
Side B = Gale slash; Dashes through enemies with katana. Inflicts bleed (in smash terms, puts a flower on their head).
Up B = Soaring Tempest; Sort of like link's spin attack, but will take Dunban higher, it will take him up even if used on the ground, the spin is closer range, but deals more damage. Cannot charge.
Down B = Jaws of Death; Has similar timing to a counter, but when landed, it doesn't strike the enemy back. Rather, it heals Dunban.
Final Smash = Blossom Dance; Sends enemies on both sides of Dunban to a cutscene. Dunban will use Blossom Dance. Press B in time with the cues to maximise damage

Taunts:
"I am Dunban! Attack me if you dare!".
