So...that happened...
Seriously, was anyone expecting Cloud? Or any Final Fantasy character in general? While I am hyped that we get a new character, I'm not sure what to think about him yet. His Limit Break seems like a combination of Little Mac's power bar and Shulk's Monado Arts.
Anyways, it's pretty definite he's not a Ballot character; there hasn't been enough time to make that much footage for any of those guys. Which is why we will get them...in the December Smash Bros. Direct
I quite possibly loved this announcement more than Cloud's reveal. We'll get info about the Fighter Ballot characters and maybe more, without the deluge of Pokemon or EShop releases.
Oh, and Lucas amiibo revealed. Yayy
