I'm sure most of you know this by now, but June 14 is going to be a very special day. Lucas will be released, $3.99 for one system and $4.99 for both, Miiverse will FINALLY be released, and some Splatoon costumes too.
While this is certainly cool news, it does make me wonder a bit. The E3 Nintendo Digital Conference so be on the sixteenth, two days later, meaning there will be no need to talk about Lucas or Miiverse. Of course Smash Bros won't be the main event this time, and the fighter ballot is a ways of, but i can't help but wonder if this was intentional. Is the early release to get things out of the way before MORE DLC is announced?
I know this is a wild guess, but with all the attention Splatoon's been getting, and the costumes about to come, it wouldn't surprise me if we got a special announcement about Inkling. We might also hear more about Roy and Ryu...just hopefully!
