Hello everyone since I am bored I thought I'd do this utterly useless blog post. I was thinking about Final Smashes the other day, and I realized that really, there are three categories that they fall in. Instant, Positioning, and Skill. |

Hello everyone since I am bored I thought I'd do this utterly useless blog post. I was thinking about Final Smashes the other day, and I realized that really, there are three categories that they fall in. Instant, Positioning, and Skill.
Instant: As soon as you get the Smash Ball, just press B and it's all taken care of.
Examples:
Peach
Pit
Ice Climbers
Kirby (usually)
King Dedede
Olimar (usually)
Ness
Lucas
When I say usually, it means that that character's final smash will still be useful at any time, but might be more useful if planned out.
Just because someone's final smash is instant doesn't mean that they can't help it along in some way (For example: Peach, Ice Climbers)
Positioning: These Final Smashes have to be done at a certain time or position in order to succeed
Examples:
Mario
Luigi
Donkey Kong
Link
Zelda
Ganondorf
Toon Link
Samus
Zero Suit Samus
Meta Knight
Captain Falcon
Pokemon Trainer
Jigglypuff
Marth
Ike
Based on the trailer for the Wii Fit Trainer, she is probably a Postioning as well, because her "clones" only come out from one side of her
Skill: It is up to you to successfully KO people if you have a character of this type. Meaning, you are moving around
Examples:
Bowser
Diddy Kong
Yoshi
Wario
ROB
Fox
Falco
Wolf
Pikachu
Lucario
Mr. Game & Watch
Snake
Sonic
Based on his trailer, Little Mac most definitely fits in this category as well.
