Hello, I'm Amycats2. I decided to make a group, anyone who wants to join sign their username below. After at least one person signs up, I'll open the "Smash Chat". Remember, you have to be signed in to chat on the Smash Chat.
- The Critical Hit can be easily avoided by jumping due to the single strike. Well, only if the opponent is fast enough. 18.104.22.168 21:12, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
The only reason I say "pretty much" is because one time I was using Marth on the New Pork City stage fighting Mario. I used my Final Smash on him and guess what? HE WALL TECHED IT!!!!!Amycats2 (talk) 17:38, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I was on Green Greens in that little gap where the blocks fall and my brother hit me with with a Dragoon. Needless to say...TECHED IT!!!!! That's why I love Shadow Moses Island. Shade (talk) 12:46, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Today I was playing Brawl, I was Ganondorf and my freind was Link. We were on Bridge of Eldin and while I spammed Flame Choke, here comes King Bulbin (both of us did not know until we saw him) and rams both us. And my freind Footstool jumped of my head! Then I got hit by the bomb that the King left behind! And I literally flew and then guess what? My freind hit me, and saved me from dying. I thanked him by winning the match.Amycats2 (talk) 18:00, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
One time I was brawling my friend at Spear Pillar. I was Falco, he was Toon Link. Both of us were on our last life. I knocked him clear off the stage, but didn't KO him. As he's coming back, I figured I'd take the risk of trying to spike him, cuz we were on the bottom half of the stage. Well I miss the spike but still land a hit, accidentally fast fall to my doom, and the hit renewed his jumps! I later figured out that he wasn't even close enough to make it were it not for me "helping" him. Shade (talk) 13:16, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
well...Idk cuz I haven't gone against that many people, but usually I either win or it's really close. Ever since I've started this new defensive style training, I can usually beat that guy on a 3 stock match and only lose one life. That's not to say he's bad, I just follow Isai's (ssb world champion) advice: don't get hit, so I last longer. Shade (talk) 13:32, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
well, what I did was buy this thing called a Linksys (it's kinda expensive). It'll give your computer all of that wireless internet stuff and then your wii can just use that signal. You can find them at Wal-Mart. Shade (talk) 13:49, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I used to dominate as Lucas, but the strange thing is that my main changes every few weeks, and there's nothing I can do about it. I remember this one time I did an online team match where it was me (lucas) and pit against Meta Knight and Sheik. The score:
Meta Knight: -3
Ganondorf huh? I kinda like playing him. I like to abuse his D-Air. If I did not like Lucas or any of my top 4 brawlers (which whould never happen in a million years!), I whould use Ness and Fox as my mains.Amycats2 (talk) 19:30, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Fox and Falco make a great team. I have this little technique I do in my spare time where I control two characters at once, and they're one of the teams I use. Shade487z (talk) 19:40, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I've only been a member for about a month myself. I've written 3 articles, only to have 2 of them deleted...by the same guy...in the same day! And once again, he put it so nicely I just couldn't get mad at him. Shade487z (talk) 20:02, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I like Critical Hit.
Right...so about that secret...the AI for Cruel Brawl Alloys is so offensive in nature that if you jump off of the stage, they'll go after you. Use a character such as Kirby, Jigglypuff, or Pit (which is probably your best bet) and continuously FLY UNDER THE STAGE TO THE OTHER SIDE. They'll kill themselves. Just make sure you grab the ledge on the other side so they don't kill you. Shade487z (talk) 20:29, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, it's not as hard as it seems. But when the green alloys start showing up, it'll be somewhat tougher because of their ability to float. It's funny though, cuz they'll start footstool jumping each other trying to get back on the stage. Shade487z (talk) 20:42, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
wait, who put that stuff up there!? I think that Clarinet Hawk person is an admin! Whoever did that will regret insulting them like that, cuz they'll ban your butt! Shade487z (talk) 03:02, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
I hope I'm not wrong cuz that'll make things awkward later but I kind of suspect that guy whose username is just an IP address. Generally, vandals never use a username. Shade487z (talk) 04:09, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Huh! I didn't know that. LucasMainer
yeah, cuz that way they don't get recognized as easily. Plus, constantly creating new accounts for repeat offenses would be a pain in the butt. Dang, the way I talk, I sound like one! NoMainer
Hey, if you use Falco, want me to give you some tips? around15differentcharactersMainerohmygodthisnameislong
Ok, this is useful for recovery: If you use Falco's Side B while both you and your opponent are in the air and the opponent hit's the bottom part of the attack, it'll spike!
Another trick is that unlike Fox, Falco's blaster can go an indefinite range and doesn't just vanish. However, once it's been reflected, it will only travel a short distance before it vanishes. In other words, Falco is actually safe from being hit with his own shots as long as you keep your distance.
Because of the way that Falco's up throw works, he can damage multiple opponents. For example, if I'm on the bottom half of Shadow Moses Island and do Falco's up throw, anybody on the upper platforms that is directly above me will also recieve slight damage and temporary stun from the lasers. If your opponents are not to heavily damaged, the stun from the lasers combined with the launch from the throw will clump them all together, allowing you to jump up and smack em all with some high knockback move like his bair!
Because of the way his back, down and UP throw works this all can be applied in certain situations.Oh and remember that his up smash will knock your opponent in directions depending on which part of it.And his Up tilt and down tilt actually believe it or not have close knockback in distance but different directions.Hatake91 (talk) 20:08, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Wow! These are some geat tips! Thanks! YouDidNotSignIn
No problem...I love sharing Brawl information I discover. YouTalkingToMe?
I know some myself... TalkingToHatake
Cool. So, what tips you got? ohhhhhh...
Well, which character you need tips for? IfAny
Well...I was thinking about getting better with Mr. Game and Watch... Shade
Okay then. When you use G&W's D-Air, right at the very beginning of the move it's a spike. Just be careful not to K.O. yourself. His Down Special cannot be reflected in a proper way. When you hit at close range with his B move, it's a semi-spike. Thats sort of all I got about him.Amycats2 (talk) 00:00, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Wow. I didn't know any of that! Gracias, seniorita! IHopeISpelledThatRight
Your welcome! IThinkYouDid
You think G&W's Final Smash can be affected in the same way that Jigglypuff and ROB's can?TheEldinBridgeGlitch
I don't know, have not tried it yet. Donkey Kong's has a weird effect. TheEldinBridgeGlitchWithDonkeyKong
I bet it using it on Bowser sure would make things fun! For the Bowser guy, anyway. IAmAMonsterWithBowser
I tried using it with Bowser. After I transformed, I fell down below the bridge and lost a life. I guess it was a glitch because I stayed in the finished bridge intil the transformation was complete. IAmAMonsterWithLucasTheTimidOne
On a separate note, you use C.Falcon much? IKnowACoolTechnique
Ok, so this is called the Flying Falcon Punch. It adds range to the technique and will completely freak out most people when it's first seen. It's actually pretty simple, but it takes fast fingers. So you face away from your opponent and jump cancel or whatever it's called to do the falcon punch while jumping. While you're going up, do the turnaround version of the move and hold the control stick in that direction to MOVE. Normally, I use a jump button to do this rather than tapping up on the control stick, because you can hold the button to go higher and farther. This doesn't work with Ganondorf though, because he's so heavy he'll go about 3 steps forward rather than a third of Final Destination like C. Falcon. I'mVeryLongWindedAren'tI?
Nice! One time I did the Flying Falcon Punch on accident. YeahYouAre
Yeah, one time I kept trying to hit Kirby with it and kept missing. Then he eats me and does it to me and kills me! Oh crap! As I was writing this I had a great idea and just tested it! Kirby can swallow Ganondorf and use that move and nearly double Ganondorf's range! It's still not as good as C.Falcon's range, though.DangThereIGoAgain
Maybe I'll try the Ganondorf and Kirby thing. Lol
