The Triforce of Wisdom is Zelda's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, replacing her original Final Smash, Light Arrow.

Overview[]

Upon activation, Zelda will create a Triforce that tries to suck in all enemies in a huge range upon activation, causing damage to nearby opponents until one of them is trapped inside. The Triforce would then shrinks, dealing considerable damage to the trapped enemy. Zelda would then perform a final blow that deals damage to non-trapped opponents that are close to the Triforce, and causes two different outcomes to the trapped enemy: If the target has less than 100% damage, they will be sent back to the stage, suffering severe knockback, although fairly low as Final Smashes are concerned. If the target has over 100% damage, they will be sealed and instantly K.O.โ€™d. If no enemy is trapped, Zelda will float there for a while. If no one is trapped by the time these seconds end, the Final Smash will end and nothing will happen.

Origin[]

The Triforce of Wisdom is one of the three pieces of the Triforce, a sacred relic that has appeared throughout the Legend of Zelda series. Zelda is commonly its keeper or guardian in most games.

The usage of the Triforce of Wisdom is likely based on the final battle against Ganon in Ocarina of Time, where Zelda uses its magic to trap Ganon long enough for Link to deal the final blow.
