I am very aware of the conflicts we've been having, and I would like to resolve them in the most civil way possible. I think you'd a pretty cool guy if you could just take a joke without getting pissed. All I want is to make people laugh, I never intend to offend or harm anyone. now that I've said that I believe it is necessary to address the root of our disputes, the viability of Kirby. Could you please explain why you think he's good? I've tried to explain why I disagree but I'm not the best at explaining things, anyways I don't remember ever seeing why you think he's good (if you have explained it I'm very sorry but could you please do so again). That'll be all, thank you.
I think Kirby’s good because he has some good attacks that can kill - especially his throws - and he has some interesting combos. Now I’m not trying to say he’s the best in the game, because he isn’t, because he could use some more buffs to his ground speed and down air, but he is a very good fighter from my point of view.
thank you for clarifying. I'd still disagree and say he's around low-tier, maybe mid-tier due to his terrible air and ground speeds being the 4th slowest in the air and, well his ground speed is above a few characters but quite a bit of those characters are seen as low-tier (although i did notice that he was faster than a few high-tiers notably, icies, g&w, shulk, and wario) also being the 8th lightest character in the game doesn't help him (not that there's no good light fighters, pichu, the lightest character in the game, was top-tier before it got nerfed). A couple fixes that'd make him good in my opinion would be: ground, and air speed buffs, up-b becoming a meaningful projectile, give the poor puffball some range, shorten down-b's end-lag, and give him more jumps (this one's a bit of a nitpick but when i was using him i tried to go under FD and ended up SD because kirby doesn't have as many jumps as puff, who i main,). overall i'd say he has potential to be good but his massive, glaring weaknesses ultimately (pun unintended) ruins the character's competitive value
