The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the sixth game from the The Legend of Zelda series and was released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000.

Story
In the beginning of the game, Young Link is seen riding in an unknown forest with his horse, Epona. While riding through the forest, Young Link encounters the Skull Kid with the Majora's Mask from the previous Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with two fairies; a male one Tael and a female Tatl. The Skull Kid ambushes Link, turns him into a Deku Scrub, scare away Epona, and takes away the Ocarina of Time. The Skull Kid leaves with Tael leaving Tatl behind. Tatl decides to team up with Young Link until she finds her brother. As the story progresses, they are in a place called Clocktown and Young Link and Tatl meet up with the mask selling man who claims the Skull Kid he just saw stole the Majora's Mask and reveals he used his power to turn Young Link into a Deku Scrub. The Mask keeper promises to turn Link back into a human if he gets the Majora's Mask back. Link must explore the world of Termina with his fairy Tatl before the Moon falls in 3 days.

The game features a 3-day life cycle in which you have 72 hours to complete the game (1 minute in real life estimates to one hour in the game) before the Moon falls and hits Clocktown and the rest of Termina. To go back in time, Link must use the Ocarina of Time and play the song, Song of Time, but can only rewind back to the first day. Link will lose all his Rupees and stock items but not his major items. If the 72 hours are completed in the game, the game automatically falls to Game Over.

Super Smash Bros. Series
* Tingle, who appeared in Majora's Mask, appears in the Super Smash Bros. Melee stage Great Bay. In addition, Great Bay's background makes a reference to the game's ending, featuring four giants rescuing the town from an apocalypse caused by the moon crashing into the Earth. Also, the game's main antagonist and namesake, Majora's Mask, appears as a trophy and a stage for Trophy Tussle 3. Tingle also appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an Assist Trophy.

* The Termina Field soundtrack is featured in Brawl, where it can be found in the stage Pirate Ship.

* The bunny hat, an item from Melee and Brawl, has the same effect as Majora's Mask (the character moves faster and jumps higher) when picked up.
