Terry Bogard is one of the major characters in SNK multiverse. He is the titular Fatal Fury (Garou Densetsu, lit. Legendary Hungry Wolf) series protagonist in Art of Fighting (Ryuko no Ken, lit. Dragon Tiger Fist)/Fatal Fury timeline, and one of the major supporting characters in a different timeline depicted in The King of Fighters series where he is the core leader of Fatal Fury Team.

• Terry's inclusion is because both Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting appear before The King of Fighters
• Terry is one of the three known original fighting game characters alongside Capcom's Ryu and Ken Masters.
  • This marks the second game where both SNK and Capcom clashes once again since SNK vs. Capcom series. The first being Tekken 7, where Geese Howard and Akuma appears there.
