Should a link like Mr. Game & Watch show up under "other members"? He was being manipulated much like Master Hand or R.O.B. I couldn't quite tell. (For what it's worth, this template shows up on Mr. Game & Watch (SSBB).) 5280s (talk · contributions) 20:31, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

I do believe you are correct. It wasn't exactly the same, but close enough.–Entrea Sumatae 21:52, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

Question #2: Should the the links for Ganondorf, Wario, Bowser, R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch follow this pattern: Bowser? Or is the current setup preferable? 5280s (talk · contributions) 22:41, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

I really can't say which I think would be better. I say do whichever.–Entrea Sumatae 22:48, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

I'll leave them because then they can see the title of the page and the picture/infobox at the top without being shunted further down. 5280s (talk · contributions) 02:43, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Though I would concede having him listed under "Other Members" if your argument is he was manipulated. That's what that category is for. 5280s (talk · contributions) 19:47, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Clever signature. --Sky (t · c · w) 05:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Why, thank you, Sky. 5280s (talk · contributions) 19:40, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

how about unwilling members? KP317 (talk) 17:19, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Already did that. Let that be the resolution. 5280s (talk · contributions) 20:01, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Okey Dokey :D - hey, what does your signature mean anyways? KP317 (talk) 21:50, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Ah yes. "5280" is for 5280 feet in one mile, add an "s" and you get mile+s=Miles. Ta-da. 5280s (talk · contributions) 04:26, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

KING DEDEDE WAS NEVER A MEMBER! HE ATTACKED WHEN TABUU DID!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, needed to vent some rage about this Dedede confusion...Nintendofan146 (talk) 05:05, 10 April 2009 (UTC) That is exactly right. Plus he didn't have a dark cannon and he stole Wario's cargo. ````Kirby 0h0

He wasn't manipulated or even a member. He attacked the Halberd the same time Tabuu did and seen the power of his off rings. After doing so he fled and devised a way to counter the rings in case all fighters were turned into trophies. I don't see how anyone can misread that. --Gannonbanned (talk) 12:55, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

He unintentionally helped the Army, and it's unclear why he attacked at the same time as Tabuu. He may have been tricked by them into attacking then in order to distract Meta Knight. So he may very well have been manipulated. He stays on the list because there's not much proof either way, and we're playing it safe. Miles (talk) 21:59, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

For all we know, Rayquaza was just protecting it's territory. Should it be on the list? --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 19:06, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

But he was revived for the Great Maze. Masterman Eat Turkey! 19:08, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Also, we don't have much proof that it isn't other than the "protecting its territory" argument. It seems to me to fall into much the same category as Petey Piranha and Porky Minch even if there's slightly less proof. Also, this page should be semi-protected. Crazy Hand

I think Crazy Hand should be placed under a new category called "Unclear Connection" or something like that. Granted, he never appears in the SSE, but remember that his trophy is listed under the SSE's section. And, of course, he's directly related to Master Hand, who is a major member. This isn't a strong enough connection for him to be listed as an out-and-out member, but I think he should at least be mentioned on the template. Thoughts? WaluigiIsAwesome (talk) 19:04, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Hmm. Interesting idea. My only problem with it is that if you play the SSE, you will never see Crazy Hand in any way, shape or form. But your two arguments are important as well (connection to Master Hand, trophy categorizing). My guess is that the trophy category was just to make the Hands be together, not to imply Crazy Hand is connected to the Subspace Army. Miles (talk) 19:09, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Bear in mind, the template isn't about the Emissary, it's about the army itself, as a fictional entity and organization. Just because something never appears in the SSE doesn't mean it can't be on the template, it just means we don't have any solid proof that it should be. If Sakurai were to make an official statement that, say, Waluigi was a member of the army, even though it's never shown ingame, he would be included on the template as a canonical member of the army. What I'm getting at here is that even though Crazy Hand is never shown in the SSE itself, there's substantial evidence that he is connected with the army, it just isn't shown in the cutscenes or gameplay. Of course, there's still no proof by any means, which is why I suggest he should be categorized as "Unclear Connection" or something. WaluigiIsAwesome (talk) 20:38, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Possible Edits

Just to make the Primid types easier to find on this template, don't you think that the Primids should have their own subsection within Original Enemies or their own section within within Common Units? I think the best idea would be to have them all listed as Primids within Original Enemies followed by a bracket with all the types:

Primid (Basic · Big · Boom · Fire · Metal · Sword · Scope)-- AM666999talk 09:08, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Glices, Glires & Glunders

If these could also be grouped together in a similar way it would be good, but do they have a common name (Gl...)?-- AM666999talk 09:08, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Giant R.O.B.

Shouldn't this be included on the template, as a canonical member of the army? Although it might not be a common unit.-- AM666999talk 09:14, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and wouldn't it be a bit better if Locations was done like this?

World of Trophies (Isle of the Ancients) · Subspace (The Great Maze · Tabuu's Residence)-- AM666999talk 09:36, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

In response to your suggestions, I would say that for the most part the template is effective as is; variants on the same enemies need not be categorized like that and the locations wouldn't be any clearer that way. The Giant R.O.B. doesn't have its own page, so it probably needn't be added. Miles (talk) 21:27, September 25, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, your arguments are pretty solid for the last two, and as the Glices, Glires and Glunders are all grouped together on the template anyway I'm not really that bothered about it. However, the primds are a bit all over the place and as they make up the core of the army, it would be handy if you could see them all grouped together. I would have the template like this:

And if all my suggestions were used I would have it like this:
