Please do not add well known facts. Nothing is added to the Wiki from comments like "Fox's blaster doesn't make the enemy flinch." Be especially sure to check that the data is not included on the DOJO!! or in the game itself.

Ike Unleashes Aether

Did you know in the SSE video "Ike Unleashes Aether", he does a normal Aether, but yells "Great Aether!"?

Super Scopes

Did you know that whenever someone fires a Super Scope, they turn yellow? ParaGoomba348 (C'mon, just talk to me!) 21:56, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Yes, so what? That's well known. And not important. - Gargomon251 (talk) 22:39, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

R.O.B. glitch

Did you know that the Puff Up glitch can also be used with R.O.B. to give him a permanent Diffusion Beam? Doore1337 (talk) 14:11, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Yes. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 02:59, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

This is old trivia, but still kind of notable. - Gargomon251 (talk) 18:52, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Auroros

Did you knows that when Ike is holding an Auroros and is using his quick draw, he immediately does the slash, only gaining very, very little horizontal distance from the slash? Zexas A. (talk) 00:23, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

er Launcher

I'm not sure whether this was mentioned before, but DYK that the cracker launcher shoots 16 shots like the Ray Gun? Zexas A. (talk) 00:28, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Lucario and Kirby

DYK that Lucario (and a Kirby-that-sucked-lucario) has 3 different voices for its (their) aura sphere attack depending on how much it was charged? Zexas A. (talk) 00:28, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Something not well know, and quite cool.

Did you know than in Brawl, Peach, Wario, Pit, R.O.B, Kirby, Meta Knight, Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Sonic can all pass under Final Destination safely without using any items. If you really don't believe me I can take dodgey video with my mobile and upload it, but that would take some effort.Anyway, shove it on the front page, it's interesting.

Ok here's some proof

[[1] Peach and Wario] [[2] Pit and R.O.B] [[3] Meta Knight and Kirby] [[4] Sonic, took a while.] [[5] Jigglypuff] Sorry about the poor quality. There, the end of the Wario jump got cut off but the ledge grab is still there. I see no reason this shouldn't make the front page, infact nothing new has been put up in ages. R0ck1t (talk) 05:54, 1 August 2008 (UTC) On further thinking Samus and Snake might be able to make it as well, although I'm not good enough at Bomb jumping or grenade jumping or whatever it is to find out. Charizard might manage it as well.R0ck1t (talk) 09:12, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Do some more research if you're going to post. Kirby, Pikachu, Luigi, Pit, Metaknight, Charizard, Snake, Peach, Lucario, Sonic, Wario, Toon Link, Rob, Jigglypuff, Lucas, ZSS, Samus, Ice Climbers, Diddy Kong, Link, and Yoshi can all go under. Not just those 9. Video proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AtcdkDIp6g

Hidden Villains

In the Subspace Emissary, near the begging in the video where the Halberd first appears at the Mid Air Stadium, when the red clouds roll in they make the faces of Bowser, Ganondorf, and Porky. You need to pause it right before the scene changes for the best effect. Ikepwns79 (talk) 22:01, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to introduce you to a man named Rorschach. Nice try. - Gargomon251 (talk) 03:22, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

That's already been suggested, too. Solar flute (talk)

2D character sprites?

"...that in the opening line up of characters, in the opening sequence and after the game is beaten, the character sprites are 2D?" Is this really true? Can somebody get some caps of this? I tried pausing, but all I could get is a blurry view.

Yes it's true. I didn't lie when I posted that. I'd recommend defeating tabuu, and watching the ending where the characters roll by. You should notice that each character sprite slightly bends upwards to the top right as they go buy. If you watch it slowly, you'll notice that they appear to be flat. Pr.Flarema (talk) 20:57, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

OK, OK, I'll throw some ideas at you...

Did you know...

That Olimar's Purple Pikmin last longer than other non-Blue Pikmin in water?

That as soon as Ganondorf returns from his Final Smash, he will hold his arms out in a "T", a position used by game programmers while designing their characters?

That Ike fights for his friends?

That the music on Shadow Moses Island effects how much snow will be falling?

That the Distant Planet stage is the only stage to have music not directly related to video games?

That while flinching, a majority of human characters will grit their teeth, with one eye closed and the other wide open?

That this is all I can think of right now... CAFINATOR Gentlemen... 08:34, 15 September 2008 (UTC) That this is ParaGoomba348 talking? Wait, why did I just post that? ParaGoomba348 (C'mon, just talk to me) 14:28, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Villains.

Here's one.

Did you know that all playable villains (ignoring Wario and Meta Knight who are considered anti-heros) are described as "Kings", have a special move which propels them downwards, are all heavyweight, and each have a Suicide KO grab? 69.12.204.107 06:35, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Timer.

Peach's Turnip

Did you know that Peach's Turnip, when it hits a Pikmin, there is a 20% chance that it will go through the Pikmin? ParaGoomba348 (C'mon, just talk to me) This is where I go 01:38, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Damage 2

also, damage goes above 999, but the game won't show it

Does this count?

Meta Knight's attacks are about as fast as marth's in melee.

story mode gameplay is remarkably similer to kirby superstar's story mode

Cafinator's.

BECAUSE MY OPINIONS ARE IMPORTANT ALRIGHT?

  • That a majority of Kirby and Fox's moves are similar in SSBB?
  • That if you turn your WiiMote's speakers on and play on the WarioWare stage, your speaker will react to each minigame accordingly to if you lose or win, instead of if just someone wins or not?
  • That if you roll your control stick to the side instead of smashing it, your character will instantly get up from the crouch position, instead of having to wait for them to get up?
  • THAT MY OPINIONS ARE IMPORTANT ALRIGHT?
  • That if you hold onto a Smokeball while it's active, it will last forever until you let go of it?
  • That, randomly, characters will be able to run in place if they run into the little bump to the left side of the stairs in the Temple?

CAFINATOR Indeed 18:37, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Charged

did you know that an almost fully charged Jet Hammer and an almost fully charged Eruption do more knockback but a little less damage than a fully charged?????! Majorabrawl (talk) 23:09, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

That was also true for Roy in melee JtM =^] (talk) 01:23, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Fighting Alloy Team

Pokemon Heavy Weight

Did you know that the three heaviest animal-like fighters in Brawl (Bowser, DK, Dedede) are animals that correspond to the three starters in the Sinnoh region of Pokemon (Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup) Bowser and Turtwig being turtle like, DK and Chimchar being Monkey like, and Dedede and Piplup being Penguin like? (not brawl related, but a fun fact never the less)

That is too non-Smash related to be added. Blue Ninjakoopa Happy Holidays 03:27, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Effect

Did you know that when you defeat a boss on boss mode, that your characters special effects temporarly get turned off. (E.g. When squirtle defeats tabuu and uses waterfall, squirtle will be floating on nothing.) ~Teh Blue Blur~... ~You're too slow!~ 13:17, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Is anyone going to verify this?

  • ...that when you defeat a boss in boss mode such as Tabuu while using a special attack, the special effects will temporaraly disappear while the boss is in its defeated animation. One example is when squirtle is using waterfall and then defeats a boss.

No Flinch

Did you know that (if preformed correctly) that if Ike uses Aether, Squirtle uses withdraw, or Charizard uses Fly, they won't even flinch from the impact of three smart bombs?

It's called super armor. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 03:38, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Link Flight

Did you know that if Link hits R.O.B. with his Final Smash while R.O.B. is doing his upward smash attack, that he will go flying off of the screen? (Twilightwizard0309- sorry I didn't mention my name before.)

Wall cling

Did you know that Pikachu and Zero Suit Samus are the only characters that can wall jump and crawl but cannot wall cling?? Majorabrawl (talk) 22:25, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Mario, C. Falcon, Samus, Toon Link, Falco, Wolf, Fox, and Sonic can Wall jump, but cannot wall cling. Please, just don't do that again. Blue NinjakoopaTalk 22:52, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Yea but Mario, Falcon, Samus, T Link, Falco, Wolf, Fox, and Sonic can't crawl, Majorabrawl is saying that Pickachu and ZSS can crawl and wall-jump but not wall cling.
Wrong again, MajoraBrawl. Blue Ninjakoopa 00:48, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Spear Pillar Wi-Fi

Did you know that Diagla never uses is time changing abilities over Wi-Fi, but Palkia still uses his Screen tilting thingy (That's supposed to represent his ability to warp Space.)--User:Mudkipz (talk) 02:39, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Don't know if this counts, but...

In the SSB series, Bowser is like all of the starters from Pokemon Red and Blue? He's like Bulbasaur because he has a green back and he's a strange creature, he's like Charmander because he breaths fire, and he's like Squirtle becuase he's a turtle. Once again, I do not know if this counts, but it's interesting. ParaGoomba348 22:26, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

What the hell? Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 22:46, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

You're making personal attacks (here and rayquaza talk in just today), stop pls --Shadowcrest 00:28, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Calling someone a genius is a personal attack now? omg... Srsly tho, you haven't been halping my mood much at all anyway. Blue Ninjakoopa 00:30, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
If you actually meant to call him a genius than pardon my error. But even Helen Keller could tell that's not what you meant. Personal attacks are not just words, they include intent and 'tone' (can't think of better word). --Shadowcrest 00:32, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
I don't mean to be a troll, but you can't really see any kind of 'tone' online. Internet sarcasm is fail. :( I did mean it, seeing as to how he's the "master" of all pokeyman knowledge. Who is Helen Keller? Is she supposed to be my new idol or something? T_T Blue Ninjakoopa 00:36, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Uh... Helen Keller is one of United State's most inspirational woman. She was blind. Friedbeef1 Love 00:38, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Maybe if he mentioned someone more famous like Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder, I would have gotten the reference (in a sense to make me look stupid). Blue Ninjakoopa 00:40, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
To further divert the subject, Shadowcrest's point is that Helen Keller, through her several impediments, could have discerned the intent of your comments. Semicolon (talk) 00:43, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm well aware of that, thank you. T_T Blue Ninjakoopa 00:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Warioware

If a Wiimote is on and there are enough players, it will always make a sound when a minigame is completed, even if that player is a CPU? 01:41, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Game and Watch's beeps

DYK that the beeps made by Mr. GaW aren't his voice, but merely sound effects? (When you collect a Metal Box, GaW still beeps when attacking, indicating that they're just sound effects. If they were his "voice", it would be silent during the Metal state.) {EspyoT}

Past stages

did you know that all ten of the series included in SSB64 (donkey kong, yoshi, metroid, pokemon, zelda, mario, earthbound, kirby, star fox and F-zero) all have past stages in Brawl. They are the only ones to have a past stage. Also, they all have at least two stages representing their series in melee. Agian, they are the only ones to do so.

Screwed Kirby AI

Did you know that in Melee while playing the Green Greens stage you can trick a CPU Kirby to use Stone attack above the blocks, and they try to recover extremely rare then?

P.S. There may be language mistakes in this post Yagomus (talk) 21:23, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Captain Falcon and Jiggly

Did you know that as of the June 5th Brawl tier list Captain Falcon and Jiggly are shown next to each other in every tier list?

Alternate way to change the stock/time in Versus mode

When on the character roster in a regular Brawl, one can choose the number of stocks/time at the top-right of the screen. Pressing the left and right arrows will add or subtract time/stocks. But that's not the trivia. DYK... That holding A on top of the number itself lets you tilt [the analog stick] left and right to add/subtract time/stock in Brawl's Versus mode? {EspyoT} 08:38, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

Hmm…I've known this ever since June of when I first got Brawl, and it's more of general knowledge of how the Vs. selection screen works than it is not-well-known gameplay mechanics. I'm not so certain if this would qualify as a "Did you know?'. RAN1 11:35, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

I got one

I'm a lowly IP, meaning I can't directly edit the page, but I got a really good one. On the underground part of the Mushroomy kingdom stage all CPU's, even if they're level 9s and items are turned off, will constantly attack the blocks. 98.117.158.220 03:08, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

Characters tumble when entering a mid-air door

I mean, seriously? Who doesn't know this already? About 25% of the Subspace Emissary's doors are in mid-air, and you can clearly see that the characters enter their tumbling animation. The only ones who don't know about this are likely the only ones who never even played Brawl. Even if not many people know, this fact isn't very interesting to begin with.

Also, the section on the Main Page hasn't been changed in ages. Every once in a while, I like to check the Wiki just to see if I can spot some really neat tidbits of trivia. For the last ~4 months, it always had the some ones. Can't we add a randomizing function like certain Wikias have (<choose> <option>(...) <option>(...) </choose>). It's not always easy to make it work right, but it's better than nothing. {EspyoT} 14:56, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

I'll remove the tumbling one, but maybe we should have some other people's input before we add a randomizer - it would cause the Main page to load a bit slower. Toomai Glittershine Toomai The Stats Guy 15:11, April 19, 2010 (UTC)

Other Pokemon Characters Cut

Did you know that Plusle And Minun could have been a playable team (much like ice climbers), as seen from evidence from the super smash bros brawl disc?

Just some humor: Did you know...

...That you'll get no sympathy from Ike?

...That Chuck Norris would like to be in Brawl? Final Smash: Ultimate Super Hyper RoundHouse Kick. One-hit KO to ALL characters, even Chuck Norris himself.

...That Sonic thinks You're too slow?

...That everyone knows everything i posted up there?
