I wonder if Mewtwo's voice will be the same as in the Pokemon B&W Movie or keep its old one.

Hmm, this image http://www.smashbros.com/images/character/mewtwo/screen-3.jpg kinda makes it look like Shadow Ball might travel through opponents (if that even ''is'' Shadow Ball; I can't quite tell). Should we mention it in the changes between Melee and Sm4sh?

Broken Category on the Article

This is on the top of the page, but I can't seem to remove it, as it doesn't show up in Edit Mode. Can someone who understand templates and coding better figure out how to get rid of it?

Why make another mewtwo page? Truter (talk) 05:51, October 24, 2014 (UTC)

Clone of Lucario

I'm afraid that Mewtwo in the new Smash Bros. will just be a Clone, so hopefully Nintendo will give him some new movesets to make him not a clone! Hopefully...

Why everyone says this? Mewtwo and Lucario are NOTHING alike. If you played Melee, you should know. Their entire moveset is different. The only thing they share is a similar Neutral Special, other than that all their Tilts, Smash Attacks (well, their Forward Smash looks similar too), Aerials, Grabs and other Special Attacks are COMPLETELY different. --Bingbangpoe (talk) 00:26, December 12, 2014 (UTC)

Yippee!

I am very excited for Mewtwo's return! But I am very afraid that he would just be another clone in the game for Lucario!--LukeRebuke (talk) 17:27, February 7, 2015 (UTC)

If anything, Lucario is a clone of Mewtwo since Mewtwo came first, however he is not. The chances of Mewtwo becoming a clone of Lucario is extremely slim because they were never similar to begin with. Both have COMPLETELY different movesets, sharing only a similar Neutral Special and Forward Smash. --Bingbangpoe (talk) 01:59, February 9, 2015 (UTC)

Mewtwo's gender.

Mewtwo is referred to in-game as ‘it’, so I have to wonder why we're using ‘he’ on the Wiki page?
I'm editing this in now. Or is there something glaringly obvious that I've missed? ~Qofi 12:23, February 19, 2015 (UTC)

I guess you could say Mewtwo is a "he" since he/it technically is the Mewtwo from the anime, as he even talks in Melee, however this is not confirmed for this Smash Bros., so leave as "it" for now. --Bingbangpoe (talk) 13:33, February 19, 2015 (UTC)
All of the Mewtwo trophies use gender-neutral pronouns, so it probably would be best to stick with that. - Nick O'Demus 13:42, February 19, 2015 (UTC)
I've always considered these Pokémon based more strongly on the anime than the games (Lucario talks as well, and the rest mostly say their names instead of their canon cries). As such I think most will assume Mewtwo's a ‘he’, but unless we get an official word we should keep ‘it’ on the Wiki. Kinda like Jigglypuff in that regard.
And it all works out and everything is hunky dory. How nice. ~Qofi 14:37, February 19, 2015 (UTC)
Even if we are talking about the anime, Mewtwo had a male voice in the first movie and Mewtwo Returns but had a female voice in Genesect and the Legend Awakened. So Nick has a point in using it. TheUltraman (talk) 12:53, February 22, 2015 (UTC)
