King Dedede non-smash bio needs to be expanded
King Dedede's non-smash bio...is basically non-existent. I added what I could, but it's nowhere near enough. Anyone with better information on the series, please, help improve this article. Johnknight1 12:58, October 25, 2007 (EDT)

- It was a poll taken in Japan a while before Melee was released, about which characters people wanted to see in Melee. Sakurai did the same thing with Brawl. Basically, King Dedede's high on the list, higher than even some characters who were playable. It's no wonder he's playable in Brawl. Teamrocketspy621 15:42, November 3, 2007 (EDT)

Long e (ay) sound?
Why does the romanisation of Dedede's name contradict the kana? デデデ大王 would be short 'e' sounds, not long (which would be デーデーデー大王). Which is it? I was always under the impression it was the short one, giving the impression it's stuttered ie. D-D-D-Daioh. Anyone? SaviourSeph (talk) 21:53, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
