Snexus 1 -- Joshu beat AOB in both bracket matches. SMYM 1 -- Eduardo beat Darkrain in the pools. Kofox hosted this tourney (AOB took over for #2)

  • You know, the list of tourneys and placings at the bottom is whack. Some of it sounds like jokery. And per se Andy 01:40, April 14, 2007 (GMT)

they aren't placings at the bottom, they are the champions of each series. SMYM has NEVER had someone win twice in seven tournaments...how crazy is that? - KishPrime

Cleanup

I didn't put the tag on myself, but this article does need cleanup. It has very good material, but we need to condense it into an article of reasonable size (this article is more than four times the size of the second biggest article) and of course standardize it to SmashWiki's guidelines. This is the sort of thing I'll probably bang away at over time. -- Randall00 Talk 17:25, June 18, 2007 (EDT)

this is the longest page on smashwiki! JtM =^] (talk) 01:59, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

All right

This really needs to be shortened. This article takes the second size prize, only to be eclipsed by Brawl Trophies page. It's ridiculous. Either someone needs to shorten it up themselves (preferably the person who wrote this or someone very knowledgable about his article), or I'll just condense it to something short and sweet... the page is 150 kb long!! To delete or not?

Delete This is written from a single point of view, too long, not notable enough, as we are not compiling a history of smash, informal writing, hasn't been updated, and many other reasons that I'm too lazy to put on here right now. Friedbeef1 1/26/09! 23:43, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

They're good points, FB. I would hope that this page would become better written, but no one edited before your delete tag since March 2008. I'd give it a little longer in case someone qualified wants to save it, but otherwise I'd have to say delete as well. Miles (talk) 23:55, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Following along with the idea that we should preserve content that obviously has some quality, the idea behind this post is probably appropriate, but too broad. Starting individual tournament pages would be my contribution. They obviously need cleanup, though I would venture that deletion would be inappropriate. --Sky (t · c · w) 02:19, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Good luck Semicolon

That seems like a bastard of a job. GutripperSpeak

It's gonna take time and boredom, but I assure you I will emerge victorious. Semicolon (talk) 20:31, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
As you always have, comrade (sorry, too much MGO videos)... MarioGalaxyDeath has a price. I've paid it... 20:32, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I laughed at that cleanup message. :) --Sky (t · c · w) 21:34, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Lol, me too. Baltro (talk) 21:40, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Guys...I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. This only motivates me to tackle it more, but dammit, I wish I hadn't. Semicolon (talk) 07:32, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

Don't give up! I'll give you a hand, but I don't know what content should stay. GutripperSpeak

still needs work

Okay, so I cleaned it up, formatted it, and tried to keep merely background information what is represented, but it still very much needs links, and perhaps we need to entertain a discussion about whether this information needs to find its way into separate pages about these tournaments. There's a lot of valuable information in the original version, and by valuable I mean interesting and not documented anywhere else concretely, and I'd hate to have that purged, but it's still a mess in its length and the topic of the article. Oh, and someone give me a shining star for this, because I don't want to have to give myself another one. Semicolon (talk) 02:52, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

The dates in the titles need to go, and a couple of the titles of the h2s are a bit too long otherwise. --Sky (t · c · w) 05:35, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
