Specifics

It was my impression that the crowd began cheering for you if you were doing particularly well, in terms of a high attack rate or something, though certainly not due to random circumstances.

As for when the cheering stops, I'm not sure whether being hit makes a difference or not, though I know it will end automatically after a time. Anyone? Zixor (talk) 22:15, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

If we did know exactly what activated the cheering, then we could put better information here. Is there a condition, or still a random element? -Does anyone have any theories or observations? Zixor (talk) 04:45, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Triviality

I do not feel that this aspect is "too trivial for own page"; and I certainly do not feel that it should be merged with the bonus page.Zixor (talk) 08:55, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Well, sorry, but it's trivial. People can play entire games of Smash Bros and not come across this bonus at all. Also, how many people stop and check bonuses when they're done? Not very many, I'm afraid. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 10:27, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Well I made the page and I think I'd like to merge it with bonus points.--Oxico (talk) 13:31, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
This shouldn't be merged. Are Bonus Points in Super Smash Bros. and SSBB? Crowd cheer appears in both games without bonuses. Instead, we should put something like Crowd Cheer is also a Bonus Point in SSBM. ItemHazard (talk) 07:09, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

I agree. Zixor (talk) 12:39, 23 July 2008 (UTC) Keep. This is more than just a bonus in Melee and thus deserves more recognition than a note in the Melee bonuses article. Miles.oppenheimer (talk) 23:06, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Just give this article time and it will flurish.--Oxico (talk) 14:09, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

table

I'll try to make a table for individual character crowd cheers. It may take a while, but I'm up for it! Cheezperson (talk) 02:36, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Excellent; one is greatly needed. Zixor (talk) 03:16, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

NO ONE EDIT THE TABLE YET! Cheezperson (talk) 23:53, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

That includes you, SK. Haha, oh well. At least you kinda got it right. Cheezperson (talk) 00:24, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, I edited the page before you edited the talk page I guess. Sorry...SmoreKing T C 00:25, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
No worries. You actually saved me about 10 seconds of my life. shall spend them wisely : ) Cheezperson (talk) 01:40, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Are you going through and playing as each character, trying to get the crowd to cheer, because I'm kind of doing that, can I edit some of the chants into the table if I know them?Smoreking T C 01:42, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Oh, they're in the sound test (last one for each character). I've already written them down. Let me write them down, and then you try and revise them if I get something wrong. Cheezperson (talk) 01:46, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
CRAP! YOU MEAN I JUST WASTED ABOUT AN HOOUR AND A HALF GOING THROUGH MATCHES, TRYING TO GET THE CROWD TO CHANT, WHEN I COULD HAVE JUST GONE TO SOUND TEST?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Smoreking T C 01:49, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, you saved me some time, but yeah... Cheezperson (talk) 01:51, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

100%????

The crowd cheered for me once after my friend killed me(I was fox and he was Falco and he D-air spiked me) and when I came back, he was still recovering, and I pushed him back him with some aerials and then edge-hogged, and he died, the crowd stared cheering for me. I was at 0%!SmoreKing T C 00:32, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm guessing the general assumption is that the higher percentage you have, the higher chance of a crowd cheer. Baltro (talk) 16:07, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Stub

I took out the stub part, as I feel that it has plenty of info on it. I will also remove the cleanup tag once the table is done. Cheezperson (talk) 20:25, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
