Super Mario Maker is a new stage in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The stage is based off of a new game where the player is able to make your own Mario levels of every theme. It will be released on September 30, 2015, and will cost $2.49 for one version and $3.49 for both versions.
Design
Characters start in pink droppable platforms while blocks are placed randomly by a hand before the match starts, making multiple hazards or sometimes none of them. It will also fix blocks that were broken by characters during gameplay.
It includes various elements from Super Mario Maker, like platforms, breakable blocks, conveyor belts, lava pits, moving platforms, and pipes. The layout of the stage is randomly determined beforehand, meaning the characters can stand on objects the hand hasn't made yet. Some features are included that are not present in Super Mario Maker, such as slopes and lava in a non-castle setting. The stage cycles through the 4 themes in Super Mario Maker, which is Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and New Super Mario Bros. U.
