Launch Star is an item first introduced in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Use

This item can be deployed anywhere on the stage. Any fighter who touches it gets launched a far distance.

Origin

The Launch Star is based on the Launch Star from Super Mario Galaxy. When the player spins the Wii Remote or the Nunchuck while inside the launch star, it launches Mario a far distance.
