Star Wolf 3

From left to right: Andrew Oikonny, Leon Powalski, Wolf O'Donnell, Pigma Dengar, Panther Caroso

Star Wolf is a group of mercenaries led by Wolf O'Donnell. They were originally associated with the evil Andross, and after his demise cemented themselves as rivals of Star Fox. They also dabbled in more illegal activities such as larceny and smuggling.

The original team consisted of Wolf O'Donnell, Leon Powalski, Andrew Oikonny, and Pigma Dengar. In Star Fox: Assault, it is revealed that both Pigma and Andrew were expelled from Star Wolf, and Wolf replaced them with Panther Caroso. In Star Fox Command, Krystal joins Star Wolf but can either stay with Star Wolf or join Fox McCloud depending on the player's decisions. Also, they have massive bounties placed on their heads because of their work. Their main ship is the Wolfen.

Wolf O'Donnell[]

WolfSSBH

Wolf O'Donnell is the leader of Star Wolf and rival of Fox McCloud. He was initially hired by Andross during the Lylat Wars to take down the Star Fox team but ultimately failed. During the years between the end of the war and the beginning of the Aparoid Invasion he hid in an illegal hideout called the Sargasso Space Zone, recruiting various criminals from all corners of the Lylat System who proudly named him as Lord O'Donnell. His motives changed when the Aparoids invaded Corneria as he rescued Fox and aided Star Fox in their retaliation. Wolf appears as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Leon Powalski[]

Leon

Leon Powalsi is a member of Star Wolf. He is the only member, other than Wolf O'Donnell himself, that has been on the team since its creation. Leon's past is unknown, but he most likely had some past rivalry with Falco Lombardi and somewhat Slippy Toad, whom he mainly concentrates on during dogfights in Star Fox 64 and bickers with in Star Fox: Assault.

In Super Smash Bros Brawl[]

Leon Powalski Trophy

Leon appears in Smash Taunts from Lylat Cruise. He is voiced by Jim Walker.

Trophy Description[]

A member of the Star Wolf Team and a cold-blooded assassin. Without an inkling of goodwill or moral standing, Leon carried out duties as required by the job, remaining indifferent and robotic throughout. On top of his lethal skills, he maintains a solid reputation as a skilled pilot. Leon has been a teammate of Wolf's ever since belonging to the Venom army.

Andrew Oikonny is the nephew of the evil Andross and his heir to the Venom empire. Oikonny was a member of the original Star Wolf team during the Lylat Wars, confronting Star Fox multiple times to stop them from thwarting his uncle's plans. After his uncle's death, he took control of his army, building a huge machine to fight the Star Fox team (Which was destroyed by an Aparoid). At this point in time, he started being referred to as Oikonny rather than Andrew. He later became an ally of the Anglar during their invasion of Lylat, while piloting the Death Crabonly to be foiled by Fox and company again.

Pigma Dengar[]

Pigma Dengar was a member of the Star Wolf Team. He was originally a member of the original Star Fox Team, however, on their assault of Venom, he betrayed them, killing James McCloud and injuring Peppy Hare. Wolf O'Donnell later expelled him from the Star Wolf team due to his extreme greed sometime before Star Fox: Assault. In Star Fox Command, he has a cameo appearance as a boss.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl[]

PigmaDengarTrophyWiiU

Pigma is many things. He's a traitor who betrayed Star Fox and then convinced Wolf to form his own mercenary team, Star Wolf. He's greedy and cowardly, and eventually Wolf kicked him out of the team. He's also got some good traits, though! Like...um... How about...? No, that isn't..

Panther Carosso[]

Panther-2

Panther Caroso is a member of the criminal mercenary group Star Wolf, led by Wolf O'Donnell. As his name suggests, he is a black panther. Panther is a skilled pilot but well known for being easily distracted by attractive females, including Star Fox pilot, Krystal. This trait causes slight embarrassment for his team members and, in Star Fox: Assault and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Panther often gets into quarrels with Falco Lombardi due to their clashing personalities. Panther's symbol is a red rose.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl[]

Panther Caroso Trophy

Panther appears in Smash Taunts from Lylat Cruise. He is voiced by Eric Newsome.

Trophy Description[]

The newest member of the Star Wolf team, rivals of Team Star Fox. A show-off who often embarrasses his teammates, he considers himself quite the ladies' cat and can hardly contain himself from making passes at attractive females, including Krystal, who he's clearly smitten with. All things said, he's still a highly skilled pilot.

Panther returns in the Smash Taunts from Lylat Cruise in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. He is still voiced by Eric Newsome.

Trophy Description[]

This Star Wolf pilot's flying skills are as stunning as you'd expect, but the cheesy lines are what you'll really remember. He's constantly flirting with women, and the rose he holds adds an extra touch of swagger. His feelings for Krystal seem genuine, but who knows where that will lead.
