Requests

Oxico

I am Oxico. I have been a vivid editor to this wiki since before the time it was in Wikia. Now, I could say how I created almost all the Final Smash pages and provided the damage percentages. I could also tell you how I beefed up almost all the movesets. I could also drone on and on about how I have made more than 1500 edits to the main wiki. But, being humble, I will not brag. Instead, I will provde a link to a list of all my contributions to the main namespace, because I know actions speak louder than words.

Votes/Comments

  • Why do you deserve rollback for just that? Rollback is for reverting vandalism, and while all that extra stuff is a plus, you really wouldn't need it for making over 1500 edits. KP317 (talk) 20:30, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Support. You've been gone a lot lately, but when you are online, you are really helping the Wiki. This is not biased. JtM =^] (talk) 21:01, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Support. You're active, and that's all that counts for this in my opinion. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 23:36, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Support. You were put on hold for your request for sysop (seriously, when will they get back on track?), so you at least deserve a chance. MarioGalaxy {talk} 23:49, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

I move for this request to be closed with the result as "promotion" due to the fact that he's gotten nothing but support for the past 2 weeks.

  • Weak Oppose: You're clearly not a vandal, so I don't think you'd misuse Rollback privileges, but I have to go back to August of this year to find the last time you reverted an edit and of your last 500 edits only 2 were reverts, so I'm not sure I see why you need Rollback privileges. – Defiant Elements 05:12, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

I am running for rollback. I have made a lot of edits, and I've been reverting vandal's edits like a rollback should do. Plus, I have been here for quite a while now, and I'm an active user. I do not vandalize pages, and I have never vandalized. I deserve to be a rollback. I have improved my grammar and spelling, so I basically will not spell things wrong. I do not use slang OR contractions very much. I would help the wiki in all that is needed. It will be best for me and you. ParaGoomba348 (C'mon, just eat turkey) 02:37, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Weak Oppose: Along the same lines as my "vote" on Oxico's request for rollback, I'm pretty much certain that you wouldn't abuse rollback or anything like that, but of your last 500 edits (which stretch back to July 19th) I can only find a single revert. – Defiant Elements 05:28, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Toon Ganondorf

Hi. I decided to run for rollback after my run for adminship was shot down. I've been here a while, and I've significantly improved many articles, wrote four, and reverted much vandalism. I write in a clear, precise and accurate way, and I put what is necessary in. I will always put the best interests of the wiki community ahead of myself.

For these reasons, I believe that I deserve rollback.

Thankyou Toon GanondorfCHAT 02:21, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Mild support. Nothing really noteworthy, but I'm gonna go with Pikamander's default answer on this one: You're not a vandal, you're active and that's what matters. Miles (talk - contribs) 02:26, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Support: A user that reverts vandalism quite often. I feel that TG will put rollback powers to good use. Silverdragon706/FyreNWater - (TC ) 08:43, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Whoo. O.K. Here I go.

I am running for rollback because I am on Smashwiki as much as I can(which is nearly the entire weekend, and sometimes Mon-Fri), I consider myself trustworthy, and I haven't vandalized and I am against vandalism(remember LarioGalaxy or MarioGlaxay? I reverted many of their edits). I feel that not much more should be said, as it is just rollback, which can only be used against vandals, and with this message, I hope you support my RfR. Thank you. Oh, one more thing I know how this works, I'm an admin at two wikis, so don't say I'm inexperienced.Smorekingxg456 19:37, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Massive support. Smoreking is definitely trustworthy and anti-vandal enough to merit this tool. Miles (talk - contribs) 20:02, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Pikamander's or Miles'?Smorekingxg456 23:17, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Support. You're kidding, right? You kept an eye on my page for both of those vandals. You also helped against IPs such as the several IPs that wrote stuff like, "One of my favorites!" "I like this guy!" "This stage stinks!", among others. Only improvement I suggest is a little more time here on SmashWiki. How about you break your collarbone? Worked for me (then again, it was inadvertent, so, heh). You deserve to have rollback abilities. MarioGalaxy {talk} 20:45, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

  • Strong Oppose: This guy still occasionally contributes stuff that's borderline vandalism. I don't think this user would do good with rollback powers. Silverdragon706/FyreNWater - (TC ) 07:42, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose: 1) See FyreNWater. 2) Unless I'm missing something, of SmoreKing's last 500 edits, a grand total of 6 were reverts, so why exactly does he need/warrant rollback privileges? – Defiant Elements 05:09, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
