When I came here, I found the wiki at a total mess. I did not know about its backstory, so I assumed (somewhat right) that there was a better one, and that this one had not been given care in a rather long time. I started by correcting grammar mistakes, then I made minor rewrites, and as of now I have found myself trying to delete the "Y" word out of enciclopedic articles, as it affects their look. I have dealt with vandals more than once or twice, some of them repeating offenders.
In all of that time, though, I've had help from Conker's Bad Fur Day, who I thought was a cool admin. I've also met a few who have helped me (most notably Daipenmon), something that has made not to give up on reconstructing the site. But now there's barely any full-time local authorities, I fear this might end up being rather negative to the wiki's integrity.
Support
- Has proven himself worthy of having the rights these past months. He is also more active and i'd appreciate his help. Conker's Bad Fur Day (talk) 01:40, March 8, 2012 (UTC)
Oppose
- Strong oppose solely on the basis that the candidate did not correctly follow the RfA creation directions, and as such puts his qualifications for being trusted with extra tools in serious doubt. Toomai Glittershine 04:11, March 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose Wiki a total mess? Clearly you have absolutely no idea what this place has been through. Two years ago this place was like Hiroshima in 1945. Clarinet_Hawk found the Wiki a city of bricks and left it a city of better painted bricks, with lots of funny ban reasons along the way. I just trolled everyone who got in the way. As for your request, I suggest if you want me to reverse my vote, you find actual editors for the Wiki because that's what would improve it, not more adminship. While not quite a ghost town, it needs real contentful editors, not more administration. You would be much more valuable as a faithful and contentful editor. I oppose on the basis of lack of necessity and no proof of the need of the tools. Semicolon (talk) 04:27, March 31, 2012 (UTC)
