The headline for each update is accompanied by the universe symbol corresponding to the subject of the update; for example, Link's profile shows the Triforce, and Mario's shows a super mushroom. Smash Bros. DOJO!! was the official site for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The creator Masahiro Sakurai used the site to post information on Brawl every weekday. On June 11, 2013 the site was updated and became the official site for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U but the original site is still viewable on a different link.

The site was updated every weekday with information on characters, how to play Brawl, game modes, stages, items, music, and other information relating to Brawl. The updates ended on April 14, 2008. However, Masahiro Sakurai noted "Also, there’s always a chance that I will need to update sometime in the future with some kind of announcement."
