Skill Spheres (スキルのかけら Skill Fragments) are items used in World of Light to unlock new Adventure Skills on the Skill Tree. They are the only item found exclusively in World of Light. They can be found from:
- Opening Chests in the World of Light map (a rare find, usually give 10-30 Skill Spheres)
- Defeating challenging enemies
- Freeing a fighter (gives a fairly large amount of Skill Spheres)
- Defeating a boss (gives a large amount of Skill Spheres, around 30)
- Defeating Galeem and Dharkon (gives an extremely large amount of Skill Spheres, around 50)
- Buying them in Shops
- Forgetting a skill on the Skill Tree (gives the same amount of Skill Spheres it cost to learn)
