Rising Uppercut (ライジングアッパーカット Raijingu Appākatto?) is Little Mac's Up Special Move. Little Mac spins upward, dealing a flurry of punches to opponents. While it is good for attacking, it has terrible recovery ability, the worst recovery in the game, as it is entirely vertical, and it doesn't even provide much vertical distance.
Overview[]
Rising Uppercut is a great combo finisher when started on the ground and is also useful out of shield when an opponent is right nearby. In the air it is rather weak in terms of recovery.
Custom Variations[]
Tornado Uppercut[]
Tornado Uppercut is Little Mac's Up Special Move that can be used via customizations. Little Mac does an uppercut that score only one hit that has weak knockback. The move can reach higher heights, making a bit easy to recover.
Strengths
- Increased recovery
Weaknesses
- Deals less damage
- Loss of a reliable combo finisher and KO move
- Deals one hit only with weak knockback
- Slightly higher start-up
This is a very good custom move for little mac as his recovery is very poor however if you do not want to sacrifice damage for recovery than this is not a good custom move
Rising Smash[]
Rising Smash is Little Mac's Up Special Move that can be used via customizations. Little Mac does an uppercut that scores two hits, the first hit will send opponents upward in the start of the move, the second is a powerful hit in the end of the move. It is very hard to recover.
Strengths
- Deals more damage
- Deals electrical damage
- Better KO move
Weaknesses
- Doesn't travel very high
- Higher starting and ending lag
- Harder to recover
