Psystrike is Mewtwo's Final Smash. Mewtwo Mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo Y and launches a large energy ball in a forward direction. Any opponent who comes in contact with the sphere will be briefly stunned before getting hit with lightning bolts and thrown back by a huge explosion. The energy ball can pierce through shielded opponents.
Origin
Psystrike is Mewtwo's signature move, introduced in Generation V. It is considered to be a stronger form of
Lucario gets hit by Psystrike
Psyshock. It is a Psychic-Type attack that has a base power of 100, making it an extremely powerful attack. Psystrike is also unique in which it calculates damage using the user's Special Attack and the opponent's Defense stat instead of the opponent's Special Defense. In its Final Smash, Mewtwo also Mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo Y (which is not required in the Pokemon games).
