Differences from Brawl

Peach has received many buffs to compensate her lack of power in Brawl, improving both her ground and air game. She also has more aesthetic changes in both design and moves.

Appearance-wise, her dress is now slightly larger at the bottom and is more detailed, giving Peach a more graceful silhouette.

  • Faster dash and air speed. Dash animation is also slightly different, with Peach running more upright.
  • Second jump has increased height.
  • More visual effects for many moves, with additions of hearts, rainbows and sparkles.

Ground Attacks

  • Forward and Down Tilts are faster and deal increased hitstun. However, both deal less damage.
  • Up Tilt's heart is larger, but has a smaller blast radius. It causes less damage and knockback.
  • Forward Smash has a different charging animation. It has more range and deals more damage with all weapons. The order now fixed, being always tennis racket, golf club and frying pan.
  • Up Smash's now produces a pink ribbon which envelops Peach's body, covering more horizontal range, allowing her to hit enemies by her side more easily. Its sweetspot and sourspot deal more knockback.
  • Down Smash deals more hits and knockback and traps opponents into it, much like in Melee. However, it deals less damage.
  • Dash Attack deals more damage and knockback. It also produces a spark, with a strong hitbox.

Aerial Attacks

  • Forward Aerial causes more knockback and has larger hitboxes, allowing to hit enemies above and under as well. However, it has higher ending lag.
  • Back and Down Aerials have slightly higher range.
  • Up Aerial now has a new animation, with Peach waving her hand upwards in an arc, forming a rainbow. Looks similar to Zelda's Up Aerial, but is multi-hit. It's slower and causes much less knockback, but has higher range and longer hitboxes.

Grabs and Trhows

  • Grab and Running Grab have slightly more range.
  • Up Throw deals much more knockback.
  • Forward and Back Throws deal slightly less knockback.
  • Down Throw deals slightly more damage and lower knockback.

Special Attacks

  • Toad's spore attack traps opponents more easily.
  • Peach Bomber's covers more range and it is much faster. Additionally, its explosion now triggers against shields. However, it deals less damage.
  • Peach Parasol is faster, covers more height and deals increased knockback. It also traps opponents mroe easily.
  • Vegetables take longer to be plucked. Also, the chances of pulling the "stitchface" turnip, Bob-omb and Mr. Saturn have been increased. However, the "stichface" turnip deals much less knockback and damage, while Mr. Saturn will instantly break shields. Beam Sword can no longer be plucked.
  • Peach Blossom can now put airborne enemies to sleep, but at decreased range and the sleep effect lasts less time, although the sleep duration is longer the closer enemies are to her. However, enemies take higher knockback while sleeping. Additionally, instead of summoning a huge number of small peaches that heal 5% each, only three large fruits will spawn, that heal for 20% each. It's also shows different illustrations of Peach on the frame.

Trophy Description

Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, Peach continues to prove that "powerful" and "cute" are not mutually exclusive. In Smash Bros., Peach uses her dress to float above the fray, suddenly descending and attacking with numerous weapons. A frying pan? An umbrella? TOAD?! Where does she keep it all?

NES - Super Mario Bros. (10/1985)

DS - Super Princess Peach (02/2006)

Peach (Alt)

Peach may be a princess, but that doesn't mean she shies away from an honest day's work. Her down special Vegetable is basically farm labor, and the, vegetables of her work can be thrown. An angry-looking vegetable will do extra damage, too! She can also pull up Bob-ombs, or even a Mr. Saturn!

Baby Peach

Princess Peach is cute to begin with, and she only gets cuter as a baby. Unlike Princess Peach, Baby Peach is more fond of her pink binky than of conversation. Despite this lack of communication, she makes for a great partner in sporting events!

Peach + Birthday Girl

Princess Peach, where are you off to with that pink parasol? A day at the beach? More like a day at the races! Her tough and unconventional karts are ready, and she wants to take the checkered flag. Expect to see Peach win and be elegant at the same time.

Peach (Tennis Outfit)

Peach brings an elegance and grace to tennis that her opponents are hard-pressed to match. Her skills with a racket can put the ball right where she wants it. How she and Baby Peach can play against each other without destroying space-time is the real question.

Paper Peach

Usually the Sticker Fest, sponsored by Princess Peach, is held without a problem. However, one year Bowser shows up to steal the Royal Stickers and ends up peeling off with Princess Peach! With your help Mario must set out to stick things back in their proper place!

Other features

To be added

  • Peach now has pink sparkles appear below her when she floats in midair.

Costume Gallery

  • Some players in Japan when the game was first released were banned for playing as Peach in for glory mode because of her ability to occasionally pull Bob-ombs and Mr. Saturns instead of turnips. However, Nintendo has fixed this bug.
