Map of Mysterious Dimension.
The Mysterious Dimension is a sub-area in World of Light. It appears in the Dark World and the play must defeat Marx here in order to fight Dharkon.
The area mainly tests the player's knowledge on the game universes in the Smash Bros. series, requiring the player to rescue the correct spirit in order to move on. If the rescued spirit is incorrect, the player must rescue another spirit until the right answer is rescued. Marx is fought here after answering the Subspace Emissary question correctly.

- R.O.B.: R.O.B. is located past the quiz that asks which spirit sells furniture. Head right to find his location.
- Greninja: Greninja is one of the first spirits in this area. His location is on the path.
- Wolf: Wolf O'Donnell has been imprisoned in the area that asks which spirit is a scientist. His location can be accessed by going past.
- Corrin: Corrin is trapped in the spot that is to the right of the question that asks which spirit comes from Inkopolis (Splatoon). His location is beyond the Azura spirit's location.
- Ike: Ike is located further in the quiz region. His location is past the quiz that asks which is Chrom's sister.
- Mewtwo: Mewtwo is trapped past the question that asks which enemy Kirby cannot swallow. Taking on two of the spirits reveals his location.
- King K. Rool: King K. Rool is beyond the question that asks which enemy Kirby cannot swallow and the one that asks which one helped out in defeating Dracula. His location is accessed by answering those questions.
- Meta Knight: Meta Knight is located past Ike's location. His location is not blocked by other spirits.
- Luigi: Luigi is trapped beyond the retro-Link spirit. His location is further down the spirit's path.
