Revision as of 01:06, 25 June 2020

Min Min is a character who will be included as part of the second Fighters Pass. Her inclusion was revealed on June 22, 2020 when Sakurai stated during his sixth Mr. Sakurai Presents that she would be the ARMS Fighter that would be included.

Moveset

Min Min's Moveset is largely unknown, but this is the best prediction based on what we have seen of her Reveal Trailer.

  • Jab: Her Kung Fu combo. If you hold the button, she makes a forward punch with the left arm's ARMS extendable, which is always the Dragon.
  • Tilts:
    • Up: A wheel kick.
    • Side: A straight punch with her left ARMS extendable.
    • Down: A low, sliding kick. Ren Amamiya and Cloud Strife used this as their down tilt.
  • Dash Attack: A flying kick akin to what Fox McCloud does for his Dash Attack.
  • Charged Smash Attacks:
    • Side: A forward punch with the dragon.
    • Up: A somersault kick that can reflect projectiles. Based off how she can reflect projectiles by kicking them away.
    • Down: A split kick similar to what Fox McCloud does for his Down Smash.
  • Aerial Attacks:
    • Standard/Neutral: Min Min spins her right ARM around her. This moves range, speed, and power depend on which arm she's using, with Ramram being faster, with less range and damage, Dragon being standard, in between the other two, and Megawatt being slow, with better range and damage
    • Up: A flip kick.
    • Side: Min Min punches in the appropriate direction with her left ARMS extendable.
    • Down: A diving kick.
  • Grab: Min Min grabs with both arms. Little is known about her throws.
  • Special Move
    • Standard Special Move: As her jab, but with her right arm.
    • Up Special Move: ARMS Hook -- Min Min uses her left ARMS extendable to grab the ledge with her left "arm". This is similar to how Byleth can use his Sword of the Creator to latch onto the ledge.
    • Side Special Move: ARMS Shot -- Min Min fires a projectile from her right ARMS. This can be adjusted with her Down Special Move, ARMS Change.
    • Down Special Move: ARMS Change -- Min Min changes her right extendable's "head" to three different weapons from the series: the Dragon, Ramram, and Megawatt.
  • Final Smash: ARMS Rush -- Min Min punches forward. If this punch connects with a fighter, Min Min triggers a cinematic where she and six other fighters attack the target, with Min Min landing the final blow as she jumps up and fires a blast from the left ARMS extendable.

Reveal Trailer

Min Min's trailer starts as Captain Falcon and Kirby feast on Ramen at the Mintendo Noodle House that she loves to go to as a waitress (actually Min Min herself) smiles in the background. Then, an ARMS tournament match plays where Spring Man and Bite and Barq fight. Despite their team effort, Byte and Barq lose the match. Spring Man celebrates his victory and raises his arms, but sees the Smash invitation, which he grabs. Suddenly, Ribbon Girl surprise-attacks him, punching Spring Man off-screen and getting her hands on the invite. She loses it when Ninjara attacks her to grab it. He tries to make his getaway, but several other ARMS fighters attack him. Back at the noodle house, Min Min sees the tournament as Captain Falcon finishes his Ramen. The scene shifts back to reveal that the Kid Cobra and Twintelle are still active. Min Min then enters the match, stealing the invite in front of their very eyes. She then attacks them with her ARMS and poses, with her tagline "Min Min arms herself" appearing. After a gameplay montage, Min Min has some Ramen alongside Kirby while Captain Falcon, having taken over her waiter duties, smiles in the background.
