June 19. Pac-Man's Neutral Special Move, Bonus Fruit, is shown. While charging, the fruit cycles the same way it did in the original game, with each fruit having different characteristics when thrown.
June 18. A new game in the 3DS version, Trophy Rush, is unveiled. Sakurai is keeping the details secret for now.
June 17. Dr. Eggman's robot machine, Eggrobo, will appear in Smash Run as an enemy. It will fire lasers at the characters.

May 30. The bottom screen of the 3DS version includes the characters' stats. If you tap on one character's section, they will be highlighted with a red square during fighting.
May 29. Ike's eruption attack is shown, and it will once again give recoil damage if charged too long. The optimal time to release it is when the sword shines.
May 28. Characters will emit steam when they are at high damages.
May 27. The Rocket Belt is shown, which gives the character wearing it many more jumps. Sakurai jokes that Ike's cape must be fireproof.

May 22. During Team Battle, characters can be whatever color they want instead of just the color of their team, and will instead be surrounded in an outline of their team's color.
May 21. Some characters' arm and leg positions will be mirrored when they face the opposite direction so the character will not have their back facing the screen.
May 20. Assist Trophies may do random things like emit rainbow-colored lights or even blink, even if Color TV-Game 15 is inside.
May 19. Little Mac's Final Smash is shown, with Sakurai commenting from Olimar's point of view in awe.
May 16. Villager's alternate costumes are shown, one of them being female.
May 15. Color TV-Game 15 is shown as an Assist Trophy. It is the oldest game to be represented in Smash Bros.

May 9. The Dragoon returns to Super Smash Bros. with a touched-up design. On the 3DS version it will appear in stereoscopic 3D.

May 1. Orne from Kid Icarus is shown, and is even more powerful than the Ultimate Chimera.
April 30. The new item Super Leaf allows players to float in the air by pressing the jump button. The producers are still wondering whther you can attack with it,
April 29. Tether Recoveries return, and reach a longer range than before. Multiple people can latch on at the same time, but who actually grabs hold is determined by who got to it first.
April 28. Midna appears as an Assist Trophy, and will grab and throw things all over the place.
April 25. Mega Man.EXE, X Mega Man, Mega Man Star Force, and Mega Man Volnutt all join Mega Man as part of his Final Smash.
April 24. Yoshi's Egg Throw now leaves a rainbow trail, and Zero Suit Samus' posture when firing her Paralyzer is better.
April 23. Charizard grabs a Waddle Dee, with Sakurai joking that he can't eat it.
April 22. The Balloon Fight for the 3DS version is unveiled, and if one walks off the side they will appear on the other side.
April 21. The Beam Sword returns, now featuring graduated colors. A new item, the Fire Bar, is revealed, which becomes shorter after every hit.

April 17. Tac, an enemy is Smash Run, will steal your charged power, and you'll have to chase him quickly to get it back.

April 15. The "Final Destination" version of Gerudo Valley is shown, with no stage hazards or other distractions.
April 14. Greninja joins the battle, using a sophisticated moveset.
April 11. The characters start out ordinary when Smash Run starts, but can power up with various items like in Kid Icarus: Uprising.
April 10. Samus and Zero Suit Samus show off their jet-powered jumps.

March 20. If Diddy Kong's Peanut Popgun explodes, it will deal a powerful, albeit close-range attack.
