I finished watching Xenoblade. I cried at the end. I love Riki. My mind was blown, to say the least. I knew Bionis had to have some sort of connection to planet Earth and now I know. Pretty crazy about Zanza and Alvis. Man! The thing with Alvis was just...KABOOM! I can't put it into words! What an amazing story and game! I love Shulk and Xenoblade more than ever. It makes me wonder, at the end Alvis talked about the universe having endless beings and Shulk and Seven wanted to meet them. Maybe the Xenoblade X characters are those people? I am staying hopeful about that. This doesn't happen often, but Xenoblade was one of those stories that I didn't want to end.
I want to see more of the adventures these characters go on; the scene at the end was both comical and touching and I want to see more and more of it! The one thing I don't get: are Reyn and Sharla a thing now? I suppose it is implied. Either way, I love this game.
First, possibly the ReynxSharla is a thing (maybe).
Secondly, your reaction to the end of Xenoblade is almost identical to mine! And your theory of the X characters meeting the Original Group is possible! I'm hoping to get a New 3DS to finally experience Xenoblade myself. Then, on my birthday, I might be able to buy a Wii U for X!
I hope to do the same with Xenoblade Chronicles; maybe I can get enough money to buy a New 3DS XL, pass my 2DS down to my sister, and play not only all the games I have now but Xenoblade Chronicles! I have a Wii, but the game is hard to find and also expensive for the Wii. Even though buying a New 3DS and the game to play it are also expensive, I feel like that would be worth it since then I could play the game on the go.
Riki find Shulk! Riki very happy! Riki get yum-yum fish for Shulk to eat, then we bash bad Mechon and Dinobeasts! Heropon and sidekick never fight monster on empty tummies! Then Heropon want to play with Shulk! SMASH POW BROTHERS!
For some reason the blog's comments have been disabled, but I wanted to say that your guide to Shulk is amazing. It looks like a lot of time into it and wanted to say thanks for writing it. It was pretty cool.
