It was You! Edit

Hey, why didn't you just move the the pages that already had definitions of Lucario's special moves? Now we need a sysop to delete the extra pages. I have to go fix some templates. --Oxico 06:21, February 25, 2008 (EST)

Ken's TheoryEdit

That was a great idea to redirect it to Ken's main article itself. I just thought you should be credited for it. :) Magiciandude 00:26, August 11, 2007 (EDT)

thanks, but it wasn't my idea. since nobody else was doing it and i had just learned how to redirect pages... yunno. :b FyreNWater 03:21, August 11, 2007 (EDT)

Thank you. Edit

As for some the info. Well, in some cases. Like the tournament and event matches. Some of them are taken, just a few words replaced to match the character like say: "Mario is the first opponent you face..." to "Link is the second opponent you face..." etc. I figured that since it was repeated in other articles, I felt it wouldn't be a problem. (Besides they already sum it up)

But thanks nonetheless. ProudNintendofan 10:50, August 12, 2007 (EDT)ProudNintendofan

ah, that's probably why. sometimes i lose track of what articles are on what Wiki! XP FyreNWater 01:27, August 13, 2007 (EDT)

Hi Edit

Hey, It's me, SZK. I have an unmarked picture of Meta Knight from the original dojo. I make photostories and thought I could use it. I'll email it to you if you want, so just let me know. Also, how do you get bullets here? I've been trying to edit my page to make it spiffy. I'm a story writer. I'm only 13 but I love to create my own stories in smahs bros with my friends and my cousin, kinda like those youtube vids you tend to see. (my youtube account is So, if you're interested, I have almost all the pictures from the old dojo, and the SSBB theme from the original website. Just ask for it and I'll dig it up and send it to you. I tend to save almost every picture from the smash site. Anyway, let me know if you need any pics for smashwiki. Also, check my user page, I've written down the smash story I made for Brawl so far.

So what if you're a girl? Anybody can be a great smasher. I tought my grandpa how to play...and now he can beat me when he tries hard enough! lol. I play for fun and to win, but if I lose, I just shrug it off.

--ShadowZeroKaras 03:58, August 30, 2007 (EDT)

Added the image Edit

It was easier than I thought. Check the page to see if it came out okay. Thanks!

Art...Edit you sculpt? -- RJM Talk 06:36, October 16, 2007 (EDT)

if you meant making stuff out of clay, yes. i do sculpt, but rarely. it's hard for me to find the time to do it, as clays tend to dry out and i have sporadic stretches of free time. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 23:56, October 16, 2007 (EDT)
Fair enough; it's tough to find sculptors interested in smash, and even fewer sculptors interested in sculpting a smash trophy on three months notice. :^) --RJM Talk 00:55, October 17, 2007 (EDT)
hmm, Smash Trophy, eh? do i sense a commission? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 23:15, October 17, 2007 (EDT)

You were there?Edit

Hi In your User page you say that you live in California that means that you were in the E for all? User:Fandangox 10-22-07

geez, i wish. my college is like an hour away from Downtown LA, too! unfortunately, i was busy with a paper and moving into a new room. :< FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 02:15, October 23, 2007 (EDT)

Krystal in Brawl Edit

Her voice actor's official site states that she will voice Krystal in Brawl. She's probably in, but who says she has to be playable?

[1] Just thought you should know in advance in case someone says that Krystal is completly in as a playable character. Anyways, wasn't shocking to see 3 new characters in one month? Magiciandude 01:13, October 26, 2007 (EDT)

can we not speculate on my talk page? shift this to the Krystal talk page or the page of the user making the edits. KTHNXBAI FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 13:16, October 26, 2007 (EDT)

Thanks Edit

Thank you for redirecting it that kid was reasing the merge template, also how do you redirect a page? --Fandangox 20:42, November 12, 2007 (EST)

Thanks for telling me. --Fandangox 20:47, November 12, 2007 (EST)

Man you're so strict with speculations... Edit

That's why I've added discourging speculations and unsourced matetrial here. I don't know if it on that guideline, but I thought I'd help out. Great job with removing unsourced material! :D Magiciandude 17:12, November 16, 2007 (EST) :Dude, she is a girl. and she is more strict about taht than specualtion, so was good to know you, but you are deadx. also someone know hot to create an userbox? --Fandangox 17:16, November 16, 2007 (EST)

um, what? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:12, November 17, 2007 (EST)
I already know she was a girl. I always say "Man" whether or not the person is male or female. So Silverdragon, sorry about that. Magiciandude 20:57, November 16, 2007 (EST)
no prob about the "man" thing. i don't mind being called "dude", "sir" or being referred to in a group as "guys". it's when it gets to "gentlemen" that weirds me out. and thanks for making it, but i bet those to add speculation will simply reply "tl;dr". :/ FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:12, November 17, 2007 (EST)

"those boxes!" Edit

I'd say we'd cut the "Original Smash" "Melee Smash" and "Brawl smash" universe boxes, since that's what categories are for. Templates like Pokemon may stay, but stages and characters, of course, strong must. So, do you think the universe boxes should trimeed? Magiciandude 15:41, December 4, 2007 (EST)

I don't really agree with game-specific universe boxes and don't really understand why they were split from a general universe template in the first place. Once we've sorted out the necessary functions to show/hide templates, overall size will be less of an issue. --RJM Talk 15:50, December 4, 2007 (EST)
categories and show/hide template boxes would be awesome. it's just annoying finding articles with more boxes than written content! FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 16:36, December 5, 2007 (EST)

Hey! Silverdragon! Edit

I've heard a lot about you from magiciandude! I also thought is funny that my alternate name is bluedragon1892 (you'll see what I'm talking about :) ). But that's not why I tried to contact you. The reason for this is if you could HELP!!! I'm a little lost (okay, very lost) and I was wondering if you could point me in the direction to where I can possibly find a sample User Page where it shows you how to make tables, make the table of contents thing (or does it do it automatically when you make a new topic?), and how to add a link to another site. I was referred to make an account by magiciandude, but i know nothing (well, except this)! Please help out.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Hamstermilitary (talkcontribs)

Kirby Page Edit

Would it be alright if we could make a page about all of Kirbys hats. I think it would be appropriate since there are so many. Just thought it was a good idea. -BigJohnno

Confirmed Characters Edit

Hey there's a part thats been written on Nintendo Wiki that I need you to confirm. Here's the link and here's the part I'm unsure of:

An Animal Crossing character has been announced by the creator of the series through an interview (probably Ai from the Japanese-only A.C. movie). According to him, the character will use many of the items that are found in the game. Krystal will, as revealed by the voice actor, be in the game. Whether or not she is playable is unknown at this time. Sheik and Ganondorf are also apparently in the game according to the current Zelda series director. Luigi was let slip in an interview with a Nintendo staff member at E for All. Jigglypuff was slipped out by David Hayter, voice of Solid Snake. Finally, Captain Falcon might return since his character symbol has appeared on the official website. A snapshot that may be fake showed Mario, Kirby, Sonic, and a character familiar to the Sonic Series, Miles "Tails" Prower, more commonly known as simply Tails, fighting each other.

A debate currently going on throughout the internet is whether or not Ness will be returning. It can be concluded through the website that Lucas might actually replace him, though this hasn't exactly been confirmed.

It would be great if you could confirm this! Thanks - BigJohnno

Administrator? Edit

Are you an administrator or sysop? If so, may I ask of a favor? It would be kindly appreciated. (Lavaris 02:39, February 3, 2008 (EST))

Thank you for you're help Silverdragon706. It was greatly appreciated. = ) (Lavaris 02:33, February 4, 2008 (EST))
I contacted the administrator, but it won't happen due to...

A. Inactivity (he apparantly hasn't been online at SmashWiki for awhile). B. It can't be done. C. He's ignoring me... Anyway, thank you for the list of administrators and you're help. Hopefully, he'll reply back..if not, it's fine. Is it that hard to change an email?

(Lavaris 16:57, February 8, 2008 (EST))

It seems impossible to change my email without an administrator/sysops help. Thank you for the information. You're a nice person. (Lavaris 21:03, February 8, 2008 (EST))
...I apologize for the talk page harassment. But you're the only one I see active most of the time, and knows what they're talking about! I was wondering if I could make my userpage in the same style as yours...I was asking because I didn't want to violate any copyright your page may have. (Lavaris 04:08, February 9, 2008 (EST))
Gracias! (Lavaris 23:25, February 9, 2008 (EST))

Image errors Edit

Why do you think that keeps happening? Its so odd...I thought I was the only one that could see it. Other pictures come in fine, such as Fox McCloud's picture, etc. (Lavaris 03:23, February 15, 2008 (EST))

There was a while during the repeated image re-uploads where my browser didn't register the Luigi image anymore, but now for me it's fine and back to normal. Maybe it's now just an issue with your own browser and you should try clearing your cache or something. Erik, Lord of Universes 03:26, February 15, 2008 (EST)

"redirects are for smasherbeta links" Edit

Why not fix smasherbeta instead of fighting the masses? :) --Sky (t | c | w) 23:16, February 19, 2008 (EST)

That would help more, since the smasherbeta still links to the Melee version of the characters.--Fandangox 23:18, February 19, 2008 (EST)
(from Sky's talk page)
 1. i don't know how to fix templates, nor do i want to learn how.
 2. not everyone plays Brawl and not every Melee character returns. it's for both Melee and Brawl. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 23:20, February 19, 2008 (EST)
Still, would be wierd to have links that link you to melle and other that link you into Brawl, and though people still play and will play melee in the future, it would be better to fix it to redirect it to the latest instalament of smash.--Fandangox 23:22, February 19, 2008 (EST)
Silver, that's my point. If not every character returns... why make extra links for the ones that do not? I will fix it for you, if you wish. A little experience is all it takes :) As to your "hard work" comment, it was his hard work also that added deletion tags to all the incorrect redirects; don't ever believe people are doing anything but with the best intentions, unless they are obvious vandals. He didn't "research" anything because he didn't have any place to do so. --Sky (t | c | w) 23:23, February 19, 2008 (EST)
the veteran Melee characters do not redirect to their Brawl pages. it's only the newcomers that have a redirect to Brawl. but yeah, it'll be weird once more people start moving to Brawl. if you know enough to make it so that people can choose which of the three games to link to, that would be great! this redirecting is just a temporary fix because nobody knows how to do that!
as for those tagging them for deletion, they actually make good edits. it's just that sometimes, they charge ahead and do stuff like this... FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 23:27, February 19, 2008 (EST)
I understand, people can be frustrating about editing things against other peoples wills. But take a look at your name: Go with the flow, FyreNWater. :). Talk to them before reversing the work they did, to see why exactly they went about doing so. I will fix immediately, so no more huffing and puffing from either of you. Can I ask you to put the delete tags back on the various pages while I do that? Editing the template might break the wiki, so I was hesitant to pursue it, but I'll have a go at it right now. --Sky (t | c | w) 23:29, February 19, 2008 (EST)
Ok, I added parameters for ssbb characters. The following can be used: "mainssbb", "2ndmainssbb", "otherssbb", and "2ndotherssbb". Is that satisfactory? --Sky (t | c | w) 00:49, February 20, 2008 (EST)
i don't know, give it a try! it sounds kinda complicated, though... FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:36, February 20, 2008 (EST)

...That's stupid. :/ Seriously, why can't they just do Wario (SSBB) and all that jazz? I'm sorry, I don't pretend to understand all this "coding" nonesense, but I really don't think we have to go as far as to create "SSBM" redirects for characters that weren't even in the game. - Brawlmatt202 11:47, February 20, 2008 (EST)

It's not complicated. See the last section at template talk:smasherbeta. --Sky (t | c | w) 18:36, February 20, 2008 (EST)
Well, that solves that problem. Okay then. And also, about what you said on my Talk page.  %he Ash Ketchum thing and Sonic (SSBM) are understandable, but redirect pages for characters that weren't even in Melee are just stupid. - Brawlmatt202 13:11, February 21, 2008 (EST)

Regarding tag on SnakedashingEdit

Why would it be unverified? I can supply video proof if needed. NeonCrusader 23:25, February 22, 2008 (EST)

said video proof needs to be added as a source. anything without sources gets tagged, even if it's stuff that most people know is true. no hard facts, no proof. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 18:32, February 23, 2008 (EST)
Got it. NeonCrusader 12:57, February 24, 2008 (EST)

Lucario Special MovesEdit

The reason you can't find Lucario's Special Moves is because it's under Lucario (direction))-B. Example: Lucario Down-B. BTW thanks for removing the speculation. Someone assumed that Serebii knew EVERYTHING. Gargomon251 02:41, February 27, 2008 (EST)

"Everything legal smashers" Edit

I find it hilarious, given the very nature of this Wiki, you want to delete something for being "too trivial." The whole POINT of Wikis like this one is to get away from lame rules like notability that Wikipedia's iron-fisted Fun Destroyers use. Thanos6 05:56, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

hey, Wikia Wikis still have rules and we still get rid of trivial stuff. i mean, we allow stuff like articles on little-known players, but we don't let people list their personal nickname for characters or other silly stuff like that. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 06:32, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Nor did I. This category is no different from "<location> smashers" or the categories on literally dozens of other Wikis (eg Wookieepedia, even Wikipedia itself) that allows users to show off their philosophies regarding the subject matter. Thanos6 06:46, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
well, i'll bring up the discussion and see what happens to the category. it's up to the admins to decide, in the end. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 10:01, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

You are a sysop now? Edit

you are a syso now? congratulations I havent come to the wiki in weeks, that means that Eric is a sysop now too?--Fandangox 03:00, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I became a sysop a bit ago, thanks! I'm afraid I don't know who Eric is, though. What's his username? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:59, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
When on earth did this happen? I mean, it's a good idea, don't get me wrong--somebody's going to have the clean up this merge. But what happened to the nominations page and where is the discussion that led to the appointment of multiple additional SysOps? Why is this whole community operating behind a curtain now? --Randall00 05:48, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Whoa, I have no idea. I just was on the site one day and noticed extra options and the ability to ban people. No message, no tutorial, no rulebook. I've really just been cleaning up pages, deleting junk, and banning spammers. I really don't know who to talk to about stuff like that. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:52, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Randall00, It seems that the archived discussions where not linked from SmashWiki:Requests for adminship, so I made links to the ones I could find. Logan 14:25, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
That's means that FireNWater's sysop position was done by the wikia sysops, and not our wiki's sysops? that's pretty ironic, hell I shuould try to run for sysop now xDFandangox 19:23, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

User's Page Edit

Can you rephrase that so I can actually figure out what you're asking? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 04:24, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I wasn't paying much of atention to what i was writting... My problem here is that you want to delete an User's Page without any argument, and since it's a personal page he can do whatever he wants within the Wikia rules... I think - KazMx the Blue Wolf (TalkContributions ) 03:18, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
See, that's the thing. I don't know about the rules, but it's listed as if it's canon information. I don't think that's allowed. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Any idea where the rules are, or at least could be discussed - KazMx the Blue Wolf (TalkContributions ) 04:17, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, I guess the Help thread in the forums would work. But I think it's not allowed, anyway. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Letter to Silverdragon: Edit

Dear Silverdragon,

I am a friend of the person who created the Naruto page and got it deleted. "It"(I don't want to embarrass myself) had tried to help, and didn't mean any harm. "It" is very sorry, next time please think twice before you delete someones work, "it's" really diaspointed because all his attempted work got deleted.

P.S. The Naruto page creator mentioned a Super Smash Flash 2. If you don't believe me go to and you will find people working on this new, all improved Super Smash Flash. Thanks for reading this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

That's great and all, but it's not canon. It doesn't matter what fan games or fan movies show whatever characters. If it's not in official Smash Bros games, it's not getting in. There can be a section in the Smash Flash page, but it doesn't get it's own article. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 02:56, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I'll tell "it" that, so "it" won't be diaspointed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

To Do List Edit

I was wondering if you could help me, i take the To Do List from Wikipedia because i think it is a great way to organize yourself. So my idea is to promote the To Do list in the Main Page or in a way that the users know there is a To Do list - KazMx the Blue Wolf (TalkContributions ) 05:02, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, I'm afraid I'm not sure what you're talking about. Do you mean a list of things that the site needs work on? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 21:14, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Deletions Edit

Which page are you referring to in specific? :/ --Sky (t · c · w) 21:59, 1 April 2008 (UTC) Btw, you should never delete anything in the User space, unless the author asks you to specifically. This is normal wiki etiquette. --Sky (t · c · w) 22:01, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh, thanks. ;_;. My reasons are also typical of other wikis (aside from WP); if a word/name isn't spelled correctly (which I think is what you're referring to), it should be deleted for the sake of integrity of SmashWiki.
As for user space, fan stuff is user stuff, and that means no touchie. It's usual for wikis to move fan stuff back into the user space if it somehow gets out, but other than that, user space is holy. --Sky (t · c · w) 22:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Here's some advice: Edit

-Don't delete pages that have good reasons to stay because you can't argue.

-Learn to read.

-Send your Wii friend code to to see how much better at Brawl I am than you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

Firstly, pages that don't get defended eventually get deleted. I give most pages a week or so before I delete them. Speedy deletions happen to spam, joke pages, and trivial/obscure nonsense. Secondly, what is it that I'm supposed to be reading? If I've overlooked something, please do not hesitate to point it out to me. Mistakes happen and I would be happy to go back and fix them. And finally, even if I had a Wii and Brawl, I wouldn't send my code to you. I don't even know who you are and you left a bad first impression. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 09:48, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Edit

Hey, I wasn't being bullied. It's just that I saw someone's Userpage and looked on the history section. I noticed someone other than the user edited it. I saw what he edited, then looked at what else he "edited." I just can't believe someone would do that. I know this is a wiki, but isn't there a way to avoid scammers, er, spammers, er whatever? I think that's just wronge. He doesn't even have an account. He might be like "Let's see who I can spam today. Ooo, there's a good one", then just SPAMS like POW!!!!!

Yo Edit

Hey, I'm just curious. Did someone spam you? because your userpage has "Note: Yes, I know I'm strict with rules. Yes, I know I can be a bitch. Please refrain from pissing me off if you want to stay on good terms with me." on it. It sounds like spam, but if it's not, ... I'm just letting you know. --Supernicknobros 20:41, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Haha, no. I decided to put that up there as a warning to people. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:56, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

From User talk:LoganA#Deletion Edit

About Nominating SmashWiki:Merge/Music (SSBM) and SmashWiki talk:Merge/Meteor Smash for speedy deletion, I did so because, I noticed that after articles were moved from SmashWiki:Merge and merged in an article in the main namespace, the leftover redirect stub was deleted:

From Special:Log (UTC time)
04:13, 14 March 2008 Charitwo (Talk | contribs) deleted "SmashWiki:Merge/CD" ‎ (content was: 'unneeded rd#REDIRECT CD')
21:55, 13 March 2008 Richard1990 (Talk | contribs) deleted "SmashWiki:Merge/Gamecube"

So I asked In the chat room at #wikia-smashbros/Wikia Gaming CGI Gateway to IRC beforehand if it was alright to put these two articles for deletion because I couldn't find a policy about merging and dealing with articles moved from SmashWiki:Merge into the main namespace at Category:Policies

[04/14 22:37:10] <Sky2042_afk> instead of recreating the article.

Unverified Claims Edit

I appreciate your help with the Shrink Glitch article. However, I have tested it personally, and I have seen videos. I can easily post a video of the glitch as an external link. I was just wanting to let you know that it's for real. (Wolf O'Donnell 06:47, 17 April 2008 (UTC))

I know it's real, as I've done it myself. However, a source is still needed. It would be greatly appreciated if you added the video as a source! FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 06:50, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
Ah yes. But, how is it unverified if you've performed it? Anyway, would you mind if the video was a glitch compliation video? Because there are no videos that I've seen of that glitch alone. (Wolf O'Donnell 06:52, 17 April 2008 (UTC))
The thing is, it needs to have a source in the article. It's like writing an essay. Even if both you and the instructor know it's true, a citation is still needed. Even if it's a video with other glitches, go ahead an post it. Just list the time it appears, like "0:57" or something. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 02:16, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

I added the video link, and removed the tag. (Wolf O'Donnell 08:18, 18 April 2008 (UTC))

User:Bman87301 has been constantly reverting my edits. I asked User:Erik the Appreciator for help, but doesn't have much knowledge of the subject, and he says he can't ban someone for one article, but I really wish something could be done. Could you help? See Talk:Luigification. It seems we two are the only ones that have any opinion on the matter. - Gargomon251 00:05, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you so much for helping on the issue of Luigification. While I understand the term is very vague but I feel it at least needs to be mentioned, and is a fairly common fan-term, despite what Randall00 may think. I was kind of afraid to stand up to a admin, but I'm glad another one understood my logic. - Gargomon251 09:25, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Aerials vs Air AttacksEdit

"Air Attacks" are the official name for all offensive moves midair since Brawl, as referenced by its manual. I know the moves are aerials nonetheless, but I figured the officially recognized name for the move shouldn't be ignored by the game's own wiki. Storm 13:03, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

I've actually returned the article and its notations back to "aerial attacks". I decided though "Air Attacks" are the official terms since Brawl, Melee officially termed them "Midair Attacks", so there was no use referring to moves by a term from one era as opposed to another when they're basically the exact same thing executed the exact same way. Sorry for the trouble. Storm 15:22, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you Edit

Thank you for deleting TR4Q. (Wolf O'Donnell 05:51, 19 April 2008 (UTC))

No problem. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:37, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Active Person Edit

I finally found someone here who isn't bias and is active...and a girl at that. After reading you use the word "trivial" soo much i started to think either you were a really educated girl or a guy who watched too much law and order. thanks for all you do around here ( coming from me that's not saying much ) and just for that i'll watch you page for spammers and assorted jerks when i'm around. Carbonkirby 07:34, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

( sorry if any of that sounded sexist )—Preceding unsigned comment added by Carbonkirby (talkcontribs)

Um... What? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:27, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
lol --Randall00 15:34, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
it was a compliment but it turned into me babbling and trying not to make you mad. ignore me i do that sometimes Carbonkirby 07:34, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Ah, gotcha. Don't worry too much about making me mad. You really have to go all-out to do that. Usually I get just annoyed. XD FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 08:02, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Sacrificial KO merge Edit

Has there been a decision on the merge debate over the different Sacrificial KO's. If it's been determined that they should be merged, I'd be happy to do the work, but I wanted to check with a sysop before I made that kind of decision. The overall leaning seemed to be merge, and I have even been leaning closer to merge myself. Clarinet Hawk 23:19, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure, so I guess you should check all the separate pages before you do anything. I always figured that they were similar enough so that they should all be on one page. The only exception might be Kirbycide, but I'm pretty sure the rest are trivial enough to be on the main page. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:36, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Super Projectile Match Edit

Why should it be merged? I don't get what you mean when you say it should be merged with a completely different game mode. Please explain. (Wolf O'Donnell 00:37, 27 April 2008 (UTC))

Because the mode is basically stamina mode just no direct attacks. it's like a different way to play stamina mode so that's why ( i think ) she wants to merge it with stamina Carbonkirby 00:43, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah... basically what Carbonkirby said. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:37, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Should I redirect the article? (Wolf O'Donnell 04:40, 28 April 2008 (UTC))

No, it's going to be merged. That means the info will be added to the main page, then redirected. If you just redirect, that info will be lost. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:03, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Hoop Damage Edit

Why did you put the "unofficial Lingo" notice on Hoop damage? The DOJO!! uses that very term. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 17:21, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Really? Add the link to the article and you can change it back to "Category: Terms". FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 22:57, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Vandals Edit

No problem, but I'm new here so I'm not sure who the admins are. --Riko 19:23, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello. I have come across an IP Address that has created spam articles, and has been vandilising constantly. Could you do something about it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolf O'Donnell (talkcontribs)
Don't worry, I already took 'em all out and blocked that IP. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 20:08, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
I apologize. I didn't know you were on...

(Wolf O'Donnell 20:09, 28 April 2008 (UTC))

That's cool. Thanks for looking out for this kinda stuff. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 20:09, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

JeisonKen Edit

You may want to keep an eye on the user JeisonKen. I've noticed him making a lot of Zelda universe pages that have nothing to do with SSB. I've marked those that I've found for deletion (for lack of relevance), but he keeps making more. Just thought I'd let an admin know. Clarinet Hawk 22:04, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

I'll check that user out. Thanks for letting me know. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:54, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey, this is JeisonKen. I looked up my username on Google out of boredom, and I saw this. Just to assure, I found Zeldapedia, so you shouldn't see or have to worry about anymore Zelda articles that go too out of contact with SSB. Hope you can forgive me. JeisonKen 20:38, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Main Page Edit

Should I add to the Main Page? It appears on the list of Uncategorized pages, and I wanted to fix it. (Wolf O'Donnell 22:28, 8 May 2008 (UTC))

I don't think the main page should be categorized. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:53, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Thats kind of what I was thinking.. I wish there was a way to fix that "error" though. (Wolf O'Donnell 06:09, 9 May 2008 (UTC))

Zak2000 Edit

Zak2000 is a vandal, and has just destroyed the Pit page! —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 19:48, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Zak didn't do anything. It was an anonymous user on the IP I took care of it, though. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 20:46, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for my mistake, and thanks for fixing it —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 09:48, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Protection of Brawl Central Edit

It seems to receive vandalism by anonymous IP addresses occasionally. Could you please semi protect it? --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 03:10, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Done and done. Now it needs to be completely revamped and rewritten to fit quality standards. :/ FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 04:31, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Cleaning of Brawl Central Edit

I cleaned the article quite a bit (Brawl Central), and I would like to know if it looks alright. Please comment. (Wolf O'Donnell 06:33, 13 May 2008 (UTC))

It looks a lot better! FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 09:24, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Do you really think so? I personally think its looks alot better, of course, thats probably a bit biased.. However, I know I asked you to comment, so I appreciate that you gave a positive one. Thank you. (Wolf O'Donnell 02:07, 15 May 2008 (UTC))

My Smasher/User Page Edit

I use a redirect to my Smasher page as my User page, so that's why the information that you delete was there. If that's a problem, I can fix it, but I think it's easier to just maintain one page about myself. Let me know what I should do. Thanks. Clarinet Hawk 23:49, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Smasher pages aren't supposed to redirect to user pages, nor vice versa. I suggest you make two separate pages. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:35, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

sorry Edit

clicked wrong name, so much stuff going on. forgive me? --Uberfuzzy 05:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Wait. What just happened now? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:23, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry Edit

I'm sorry about the incident on your talk page last night... (Wolf O'Donnell 19:57, 15 May 2008 (UTC))

Question Edit

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but what does it mean when I go to my contributions and it says next to some of my edits: (top)? I'm confused... Does it mean:

 • Top of the list of my contributions
 • Great contribution(s)

(Wolf O'Donnell 07:02, 17 May 2008 (UTC))

You know, that's a good question. I figured it was for edits in the main part of the article, not under ==Categories== or ===Subcategories===. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 09:43, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Ah..I see. It confuses me. I think it means the most recent edit, (top) meaning that its the current revision/appearance of the article.

On a side-note: When I said "Great Contributions" I meant to say "One of my better contributions", I was going to change it, but I figured you may have read it already. (Wolf O'Donnell 02:26, 18 May 2008 (UTC))

Prevention Edit

I know this doesn't sound like a great idea. But I think it could come to good use, as it may prevent users from creating spam articles.

What if SmashWiki decided to disable the creation of new articles of people who haven't registered an account? I know that may sound harsh to some people, and I realize that it won't stop IP Addresses from vandalising either, but it may help aid in the prevention of the regular spam that members have to put up with on a daily basis. (Wolf O'Donnell 17:27, 18 May 2008 (UTC))

Yeah, I already asked Charitwo about that a few weeks back. Haven't heard back, though. I don't have the power to change that, so for now, I'm just cleaning vandalism, protecting articles, and blocking vandals. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 21:37, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Sonic the Hedgehog (SSBB) Edit

It appears that there may be an edit war going on with Sonic. One user (Potatopie) even commented on Sonic players saying "Seems better then he is because most players are completely bias towards him."

Could you please semi-protect it? Thank you. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 17:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC))

Done and done. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 18:11, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Ken Hoang Edit

Could you please semi-protect the Ken Hoang article as well? A recent IP address vandalised the article, and I don't want it to happen again. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 18:01, 20 May 2008 (UTC))

I blocked it, but uh... The stuff you reverted? That's actually real stuff. The reason why we keep the Peach theory is because we deleted the article and that's to placate the people who kept trying to remake the horribly stereotyped thing. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 18:10, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Oh.. I apologize. It looked like vandalism, though.. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 18:13, 20 May 2008 (UTC))

Thank you for protecting them. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 18:38, 20 May 2008 (UTC))

Thanks for the note on that. I'll keep that in mind from now on. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 17:59, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Vandal Edit

This IP vandalised the Jigglypuff (SSBB) page. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 16:34, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Categories Edit

Would it be alright if I created two new categories?

 •
 •

I've tried finding a substitude(s), but I can't currently find any. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 05:08, 27 May 2008 (UTC))

We're already planning on doing something with clans (or so I would believe), so leave that alone. If you feel there's enough articles to have a category for easter eggs (rather than just listing them on the main article), then go ahead and make that. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:15, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Craq Walk Edit

why'd you delete my page. the craq walk is an actual technique and that's its original name. I didn't create it, just its page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Killermarth.5333 (talkcontribs) 16:05, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

It wasn't a serious page nor a serious technique. It appears to be wavelanding with a different name and a bad article. Next time, make better pages for important things in order for them to be taken seriously. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:09, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

You delete the Craq Walk again?!?!?! After I put a link to youtube and tell you exactly what to type you delete it!!! That's Bullsh**!!!!!! Because it has a inappropriate name is NOT good enough. I did NOT create the Craq Walk or it's name iCRAQ did!!!! Only teens and up are supposed to be playing this game anyway, so get off my back about it!!! I am getting really annoyed that you are deleting my pages because of it's name. If you don't like it, have iCRAQ change it instead of deleting my page. You are really getting on my nerves because of this crap. Should I put stars covering the Craq part like this (Cr** Walk). I am not going to say I hate you but I despise you with great intensity. Watch the Craq Walk video and see that iCRAQ is doing the Cr** Walk not me. He's even using Luigi so it's more noticeable, like I said. Well I had a little help put I created the PAGE, not the name, you got that?!?!?!?! --Y46264Y (talk) 20:24, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Zmario Edit

It looks like Zmario is back on a different user account since you blocked his other one. His new user name is Zmario111 and his user page makes it quite clear that it's the same guy and he hasn't changed a thing since you blocked him. Just thought I'd give you the heads up. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 20:29, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Done and done. Thanks for the tip, I'll be watching for that kid. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 03:05, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Protection Request Edit

Hey, can you protect my crew's tier list page. It's User:Clarinet Hawk/SLAPAHO Tier List. Protecting the talk page might not be a bad idea either, if that's not a problem. Thanks for helping me out. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 14:16, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I've protected the main page, but talk pages can't be protected. I've made it so that unregistered users can't edit, though. If any problems come up, I can just deal with those users. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Your User NameEdit

How do you change your user name while keeping your old one as the heading of your user page? Like, Randall00 used to be RJM, and you used to be Silverdragon706. So, how do you do that? - GalaxiaD (talk) 00:13, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, my username still is Silverdragon706. I believe you're thinking of the text in my signature. Here's the raw coding for you to modify and add to the "signature" section in the Preferences page:
INSERT NICKNAME HERE - <small>(Talk • Contributions )</small>
FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 07:03, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Ban this vandal Edit

Hey, some person under the IP has been vandalizing the wiki. One of them was directed at you, so I thought you might like the pleasure of banning him/her. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 20:33, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Done and done. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 04:59, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Presents Edit

I have some presents for you. They are:

You can view the respective reasons on this page. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 04:55, 3 June 2008 (UTC))

Got 'em. From now on, please list articles nominated for deletion on the SmashWiki:Candidates for deletion page. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 04:59, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I thought I had the right link.. I apologize, Silverdragon706. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 05:03, 3 June 2008 (UTC))
Well, it was the right link. You just don't have to tell me on my talk page if it's already there. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 05:04, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
I apologize. When I realized that you were online, I thought it was the perfect time to let you know about them, this way, they could be deleted faster. On a side-note, when I called them "presents", it was supposed to be a "funny-relief" kind of thing..(for you, not for me). (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 05:10, 3 June 2008 (UTC))
No, it's cool. Just don't do it next time, 'cause it's basically repeating yourself. Also, add colons (:) at the beginning of your text for each reply. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 08:58, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

IP Vandalism Edit

Hello. I've come across an IP Address that has vandalised atleast one article.

(Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 02:29, 4 June 2008 (UTC))

Could you take a look at this... Edit

I was on the Quick Attack page and was somewhat puzzled by what to do with the part on Quickstixs. I messaged the user who added the section and he claims that it is a legitimate technique but also concedes that it is his personal name for the move. I know the general policy is that whoever invents a glitch gets to name it, but I also know that we don't let people just make up names for simple techniques. Could you take a look at that section as I would like an administrator's opinion on what should be done with it. Thank you. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 20:34, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

The page is a horrid mess and will likely be revamped to the point that the section gets removed entirely. It really depends on the people that end up editing it. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 01:17, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
I talked to the user who created it, and I honestly think that he thinks he made it better. He didn't. He did, however, say that he would be fine with getting rid of the whole thing so I think that's what I'm going to do. It will be for the best. Clarinet Hawk (talk) 02:23, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
