Moveset

Ground Attacks

Normal Combo: Mega Buster. Mega Man fires a three pellet burst from his arm cannon. Can be used while moving.

Side Attack:

Up Attack: Mega Uppercut. Mega Man delivers a powerful jumping uppercut. He moves forward slightly when performing the move. Based on the same move he has in [Marvel VS Capcom].

Crouch Attack: Charge Kick. Mega Man slides out in front of him, feet first.

Dash Attack: Top Spin. Mega Man twirls his body rapidly, dealing multiple hits as he moves.

Smash Attacks

Side Smash: Charge Shot. Mega Man builds up power in his arm cannon for a stronger, farther reaching energy shot.

Up Smash: Spark Shock. Mega Man's arms turn into two high-voltage electrodes, as he creates a powerful electric shock above his head, causing multiple hits with knockback in the last frame. Afterwards, his arms need to vent out, leaving him vulnerable to attack.

Down Smash: Flame Blast. Mega Man places his arms on the ground and shoots a pillar of flames from both of them, on each side of him. Afterwards, his arms need to vent out, leaving him vulnerable to attack.

Aerial Attacks

Neutral Aerial: Mega Buster. Mega Man fires a three pellet burst from his arm cannon.

Forward Aerial: Flame Sword. Mega Man swipes an arm cannon down in front of him, covered with a pillar of fire.

Back Aerial: Slash Claw. Mega Man swipes behind him, hitting multiple times as the attack connects.

Up Aerial: Air Shooter. Mega Man fires a small tornado above his head, the twister traveling upwards and damaging anything it touches.

Down Aerial: Hard Knuckle. Mega Man fires his fist out below him, before it returns a moment later. A Meteor Smash.

Grabs and Throws

Grab: Super Arm. Mega Man lifts the foe with only one hand, easily.

Special Moves

Standard Special: Metal Blade. Mega Man throws circular saw blades which can be aimed in 8 directions and be picked up and thrown again if they hit the ground.

Side Special: Crash Bomber. Mega Man fires an explosive device which sticks to other characters or surfaces and explodes after a few seconds. Functionally similar to the Gooey Bombs.

Up Special: Rush Coil. Mega Man's sidekick Rush appears below Mega Man at an instant, using the spring on his back to send Mega Man soaring into the air. Rush teleports away after a brief moment.

Down Special: Leaf Shield. Several leaves orbit Mega Man, protecting him from damage. The shield could be throw forward, damaging foes at a distance.

Trivia

  • Most of his attacks retain the exact same animations that their sprites did in their original NES, SNES, and Sega Saturn games.
    • Most of his sound effects are based on his NES incarnation.
  • Hard Knuckle is currently the only Meteor Smash in all Smash Bros games to have a ranged attack property.
