Max Malicious Moonsault (ハイパーダーククラッシャー改) is Incineroar's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Overview[]

Incineroar rushes forward and grabs the first opponent it catches. Incineroar then throws its opponent into the ropes of the Boxing Ring, uppercutting them when the opponent is rebounded back to Incineroar. As the opponent is launched into the air, Incineroar jumps up and dropkicks the opponent, followed by an upwards punch, ending with Incineroar grounding the opponent with its head, resulting in a large explosion. Anyone nearby will be caught in the blast radius when the cinematic ends.

Origin[]

Malicious Moonsault is Incineroar’s signature Z-Move from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, and its sequels, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon.

Trivia[]

The Duck T-posing.

  • This Final Smash appears to take place on a different Boxing Ring than the Punch-Out!! and Super Smash Bros. versions as this one features its own unique emblem.
  • When Duck Hunt is hit by this Final Smash, the duck will stay in a T-Pose the entire cinematic.
  • It was used when Ken and Incineroar were fighting in their reveal trailer. In the aftermath, Ken was out of the arena and subsequently defeated.
  • The way Incineroar lets loose an explosion after slamming his head into his opponent (and the floor) is similar to a meteor in real life, apart from the Nova Bomb-esque explosion.
