Lottery (SSBM) — The player winning a Totodile trophy in SSBM.

The Lottery is a slot machine-like minigame in Super Smash Bros. Melee in which players use Coins to try to win a trophy. The more coins that are entered, the better the player's chances of receiving a new trophy, as opposed to one they already have. Up to 20 coins can be inserted at once. Each time a new trophy is won, the odds of getting another new trophy is lowered, which is indicated in a percent, until all trophies are won (0% of getting new trophy). Oddly enough, it is possible to use the Lottery after all possible trophies are obtained.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the Lottery has been replaced by the Coin Launcher. The Coin Launcher is different from the Lottery in that you need to shoot coins rather than taking a bet on pure chance. In addition, in the Coin Launcher allows you to earn stickers.

Unlockables

Mushroom Kingdom II, by randomly winning the Birdo or the Pidgit Trophies.
