The Lottery is a slot machine-like minigame in Super Smash Bros. Melee in which players use Coins to try to win a trophy. The more coins that are entered, the better the player's chances of receiving a new trophy, as opposed to one they already have. Up to 20 coins can be inserted at once. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it has since been replaced by the Coin Launcher. The coin launcher is very different from the lottery because you need to shoot coins, rather than pure chance. In addition, in the coin launcher allows you to earn stickers aswell.
