Trivia

  • Kentaro Ishizaka's work on Super Smash Bros. Brawl remains his only composing credit, as he hasn't done any composition work ever since nor prior to his involvement with the game.
    • A similar situation also applies to Yusuke Kudo, who has no other composition credit prior to his involvement with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
  • HIDE+HIDE and RiRiKa are the only credited musicians who aren't traditional video game composers; HIDE+HIDE are only involved with concertos and live orchestral performances, while RiRiKa is a pop musician and actress.
  • Oddly, Asuka Ito is not listed alongside the other composers in the website for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
  • Grant Kirkhope and Toby Fox are the first non-Japanese musicians to do an arrangement for Smash.
