Trivia
- Xenoblade Chronicles is one of six major universes to gain additional music tracks via downloadable content, the other five being Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby, Fire Emblem, and Final Fantasy.
- The music tracks from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 are owned by the composers instead of the IP owner. They share this distinction with songs from Dragon Quest, the first two Sonic the Hedgehog games, Culdcept, Soma Bringer, and Style Savvy: Styling Star, as well as the promotional singles from Pikmin.
- Prior to Challenger Pack 9, the three base game tracks ("Battle!! - Xenoblade Chronicles 2", "Those Who Stand Against Our Path", and "Still, Move Forward!") were credited to Séptima Ley Co., Ltd., the company that publishes the CD soundtracks for the Xenoblade series. The credit has since been changed to their respectful composers.
- Oddly, the base game Xenoblade Chronicles 2 songs are played at a lower volume than other tracks in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
- The song "Drifting Soul (Violin Version)" and the original version of "Counterattack" were used in Pyra and Mythra's reveal trailer but do not appear in Ultimate.
