Link has been redesigned to match his appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He can now pick up arrows he's fired, and his bombs have been upgraded to remote bombs, so you can set them off when the timing is just right!

Link (リンク) is a veteran fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, first playable in Super Smash Bros. He was confirmed in the game's first teaser trailer in March of 2018.

Smash Attacks

  • Forward Smash (Sword Slice): A two-handed, lunging downward slash. If the attack button is pressed again, Link will perform a single-handed outward slash. If Link is at 0% damage, the first swing will launch a projectile.
  • Up Smash: A series of three overhead arcing slashes, the last one which launches opponents away.
  • Down Smash: A kneeling inward slash in front of himself, followed by a kneeling outward slash behind himself.

  • Floor Attack (Front): Slashes in front of himself and then behind himself.
