Fox's Landmaster
Landmaster is Fox's, Falco's and Wolf's Final Smash. He leaps up into the sky, coming back down in the eponymous Landmaster Tank and the player gains control of it. It can hover using the jump button, roll by pressing down on the control stick, and fire using the attack button (although it can't fire while rolling or hovering). Players can also stand on top of the tank, but can be easily be thrown off by rolling, or by standing on the cannon barrel while it fires. Players standing on the Landmaster can also be easily knocked out if the player controlling it hovers upwards toward the blast line. As the attack ends, the Landmaster begins to blink before fading away as a wireframe.
Fox
When he activates it, he shouts "Landmaster!"
While powerful, the Landmaster has somewhat slow turning, driving backwards a short distance before actually turning around. If an opponent gets tackled by the tank, they will take about 15% damage. Each blast deals about 34%. This Landmaster is the more balanced of the three, having centered out strength and maneuverability, as well as time. It, as well as Falco's, lasts 18 seconds.

- Fox's Final Smash. Climb aboard the Landmaster tank, the ultrahigh- performance, antiair, rolling combat vehicle of Team Star Fox. Just like in the Star Fox series, the cannon can be used to blast foes, and the tank can roll over enemies. The jets beneath the main body can be used to hover. Between its firepower and mobility, this tank knows no equal.
Falco
Falco's Landmaster
When he activates it, he shouts "Personally, I prefer the air!" (This phrase has become a bit of an internet meme due to Falco using a vehicle he hates for his Final Smash despite declaring this.)
It appears to be very similar to Fox McCloud's Final Smash. Almost visually identical, its attacks are slightly weaker. The one noticeable difference is that Falco's jump jets go higher. Falco's Landmaster can fly so high that it can star-KO anyone standing on top of it. Although his Landmaster is slower than the others, it has superior movement in the air.

- Falco's Final Smash. He jumps aboard the Landmaster high-spec, anticraft tank. With the tank's powerful cannon blasts and rolling ability, it's possible to take out all enemies at once. The Landmaster is based on actual production vehicles, but Team Star Fox's Landmaster was customized by the team's mechanic, Slippy Toad.
Wolf
Wolf's Landmaster: The strongest of the three, but lasts the shortest.
When he activates it, he shouts "We're gonna have fun with this thing!"
It appears to work the same way as Fox McCloud's, only sporting the red color of the choice of aerial fighter. Wolf's Landmaster is more powerful than Fox or Falco's, capable of dealing more damage with high knockback. Its blasts are shot much faster, and its overall feel is more aggressive than Fox or Falco's. The jet boost is similar to Falco's in which he too can Star-KO. The move's main drawback is that the Landmaster doesn't last very long, and it falls faster. It lasts 6 seconds less than Fox/Falco Landmaster.

- Wolf's Final Smash. Wolf analyzed Fox's Landmaster and built his own improved version, which he now calls out and boards. He's increased the output of the onboard generators and upped the vehicle's firepower. However, this has substantially decreased the time the Landmaster can appear on the screen. It sports the same colors as Wolf's Wolfen.
Other info
The tank's appearance is a cross between its Star Fox 64 look and its Star Fox Assault look. It maintains the sharp and futuristic appearance it had in Assault, but still has the traditional tank treads from 64. (In Assault, the Landmaster ran on off-road wheels)
Due to its size, the cannon of the Landmaster fires above most character's heads, requiring a bit of strategy to properly use. Also, it comes from the sky as seen in gameplay videos and even goes off from smaller platforms. This makes it difficult to use in small stages such as Battlefield.
Fox's is used in Event 2: Landmaster Ignition to KO Meta Knight and Sheik. It has infinite uses in this event.
Despite its size, it only requires a 'player' sized piece of land to rest upon. Also, it can fall down any 3-'player' sized hole, if it is positioned right. This leads to the landmaster being able to fall down small gaps, such as the one in the center of the 'Yoshi's Island' melee stage. (seen here)
Oddly, both Falco and Wolf use the Landmaster for their Final Smashes, despite Falco having an open hatred of it in Star Fox 64, and Wolf never using one in single-player. Recent Brawl English dialogs even have Falco saying "Personally, I prefer the air!" as his Final Smash line while Wolf says "We're gonna have fun with this thing!".
Because three characters use the Landmaster despite the blatant contradiction of the Star Fox canon, the term "Landmaster" has come to colloquially refer to any move that more than one character shares (for example, Marth and Ike's Counter). The Landmaster has also become a recurring joke on many forums, in which the Landmaster is sarcastically referred to as something that there is not enough of in the game. A similar joke is that because all 3 of them use a landmaster, there is meme of a screen that says: Everyone has a landmaster, do you, or similar content. Furthering this joke are edited pictures of more characters using Landmasters, such as a Landmaster edited green with Toon Link as one of the characters.
According to Falco's Final Smash trophy, Landmasters are manufactured as a regular military tank, with the Star Fox variety customized by Slippy. Wolf's Final Smash trophy indicates that he analyzed Fox's Landmaster and customized his own.
Due to the Landmaster's size, it can not easily maneuver around small stages or small enclosures, such as those found in the Hyrule Temple.
The gun portion of the landmaster acts as a platform. Characters can sink through it, avoiding a possible Star KO.
If a person is hit during the jump at the beginning it is possible to Star KO them.
