Kamek (カメック Kamekku), also known as Magikoopa, is a recurring enemy in the Mario series. Kameks are high-ranking Koopas with wizard garb that are able to cast spells.
Kamek is the generic name for the enemy species in Japan and Europe, while in North America and some European games they are known as Magikoopas and Kamek is the highest-ranking member and one of the main villains in the Yoshi series. This causes some confusion with the name, as sometimes Kamek is called Magikoopa, and generic Magikoopas are named Kamek.
Kamek appears in two Stickers.
Kamek appears as a stage hazard in Mushroom Kingdom U. Kameks also appear as enemies in Smash Run, attacking by casting spells in a one or three shot format and teleporting around the area to get a better angle at the player. If the spells hit the player, it will decrease one of the player's stats. The magic shots can be absorbed by the PSI Magnet or the Oil Panic.
Kamek is a magic-wielding, robed figure usually seen riding on a broomstick in the Mario series. He teleports around the stage, looking for fighters. When he finds one, he'll cast spells at them. If he hits you with one, your stats will drop. That's no good, since you'll need some power to deal with Kamek's high stamina!
