Jungle Rush (ジャングルラッシュ) is Donkey Kong’s Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, replacing his previous Final Smash, Konga Beat.

Overview[]

Jungle Rush is a Trapping-type Final Smash, in which Donkey Kong delivers a solid uppercut to up to three targets, causing them to spin in midair while DK unleashes a flurry of violent blows, before launching them away with one more powerful uppercut. The move is executed in a method similar to his Giant Punch, but instead of one powerful punch, it starts with a flurry of blows before then ending with the big blow.

Origin[]

Jungle Rush is based on a reference of the attacking animation to the enemies in Nintendo GameCube's 2005 game, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.

Trivia[]

  • When Donkey Kong uses Jungle Rush, you could hear the Nintendo GameCube DK Bongos sound, which is used from Donkey Konga.
