Jungle Hijinxs is a new stage introduced in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Wii U. The stage is based in Donkey Kong Country Returns.
Design
Characters can play in the foreground or the background by hopping into a Barrel Cannon. After the launch, the character will be surrounded by flames, and if the character (while they are engulfed in flames,) hops into another Barrel Cannon, it will explode. It is easier to K.O. an opponent in the background of the stage. Sometimes a rock will fall in the background and hit a character that is nearby when it lands. The main platform may also fall, revealing 4 Barrel Cannons.
