Jump Glide is one of Palutena's Up Special Moves. Palutena jumps a small height, and she can glide horizontally for an amount of time. While gliding, she can activate any aerial move, but it will put her into a helpless state much earlier. This movement does not cause any kind of damage.

The Jump Glide custom variation has use as both a combo set-up and recovery. When used on the ground it only goes upwards a short distance, working as an alternative to short-hopping in this way; it can also travel a great distance horizontally allowing Palutena to pursue enemies and attack them with aerials. Her forward aerial combos into up smash at 40% and can be a kill combo; her neutral aerial will combo into pivot forward tilt or forward smash, and back aerial can be thrown out as she passes by opponents. As a recovery the move travels a decent vertical distance when used in the air. In comparison to Warp, the move is slow as a recovery.

Jump Glide originated in Kid Icarus: Uprising as a Power. As its name implies, it allows the user to jump into the air and then glide. It can be used as a means to avoid attacks or to confuse opponents. While gliding, you can fire at enemies if you want to use it offensively. Under normal circumstances, Pit is unable to jump which forces him to use Jump Pads or ramps to reach higher points; With Jump Glide, Pit can reach a few of those higher points without the Jump Pads or ramps.
