Havok (legally known as Telekinesys Research Ltd.) is an Irish computer software company based in Dublin. Founded in 1998 by Hugh Reynolds and Steven Collins, the company is best known for developing several game and physics engines that have been used by major game development companies including Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Ubisoft, Activision, and Bethesda Softworks.

Havok's game and physics engines and development tools have been used in over 150 titles. The primary engine they have developed is the Havok physics engine, which has been used in games such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, the recent entries in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the Assassin's Creed series, as well as the games included in the Nintendo Labo VR Kit. Havok has also developed cross-platform technology with its Vision engine, though it has since been discontinued as of 2014.

On September 14th, 2007, computer manufacturing company Intel announced its acquisition of Havok.[1] On October 2nd, 2015, Intel sold the company to Microsoft for an undisclosed amount,[2] and has remained under their ownership since.
