It is unlocked as soon as Sonic himself is unlocked The midsection is a half-pipe that crumbles away if it attacked too much during the course of the fight. There are also checkpoint lampposts that can be spun around to hurt other players. In the background is a giant loop-de-loop, an icon of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Supporting Sonic characters Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Silver the Hedgehog can be seen making their cameo appearances as they run to get through the loop.
