Fire Hydrant is Pac-Man's Down Special Move. Pac-Man puts an Hydrant beneath him which sprouts water from both sides. Similarly, like F.L.U.D.D, if it hits a opponent, he or she will be pushed away. It can also push Pac-Man. Pac-Man is also able to use the Hydrant as a projectile by kicking it. If it is used in Midair, Pac-Man drops it quickly and damages opponents that are stuck by it.
Via customizations, it can turn into Erupting Pug and Exploding Plug, Erupting Plug makes the Fire Hrydrant literaly sprouts fire, it can also damage Pac-Man, Exploding Plug lets Pac-Man drop a Fire Hydrant straight below that makes a big explosion, it explodes either when it hits the ground or after a set amount of time has elapsed.

In Pac-Land, the Fire Hydrant can be found in the town, Pac-Man can push it to find items and also use it as a platform, however, it can't sprout water, this only happened in Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures, for the SNES.
